Giving her father the gift of a lifetime.
The Masters is HERE, and thousands of fans have flocked to the greens in Augusta, Georgia, to watch their favorite golfers. While the tournament officially kicks off tomorrow, events like the Par 3 content and practice rounds have kept fans busy.
No matter what portion of the Masters you are able to attend, it’s a big deal, and people often drop big dollar amounts to get tickets. If you’re lucky enough, you get tickets through the lottery and avoid the upcharge of resale, but that’s all pure luck. CanadaSportsBetting.ca’s current data shows that 4-day passes for ticket resale are roughly $20,310, so it’s not a cheap tournament to attend.
However, if you are one of the lucky ones who gets to attend The Masters, especially Masters Sunday, the trip will never be forgotten. One influencer is making her father’s dreams come true by surprising him with tickets to the famed tournament, and the internet is left in a puddle seeing his reaction.
Allison Kuch, who some of you might know as an influencer and others might know as the wife of former NFL player Isaac Rochell, shared a tender video on her TikTok of her dad opening up tickets to The Masters, having no clue that his daughter was gifting him with tickets.
She records a FaceTime call with her dad and sends him a package with a Masters’ ball cap. Her father is stoked with the hat alone, but then she shares the big news with him.
“Who’s going to The Masters?”
Her father asks.
“You are. Do you maybe want to take off work for a few days and come with me to The Masters?
Like The Masters invited me. I was like, I mean, I could bring my husband, but I was like, I would rather bring my dad. Who… I literally remember watching growing up, like you watched The Masters every single year. They were like, ‘Yeah, bring him!'”
Her father is left speechless, and all he can say is:
“Wow, wow, wow.”
Once he composed himself and came out of a state of shock, her father said that he was “geeked” about this trip.
Who is cutting onions?
I know that influencers get a lot of hate for getting invited to things that might not interest them, but this is a moment of an influencer using her power for good. I can only imagine the memories they will make at The Masters.
@allisonkuch this duo is headed to the @The Masters!!! so special that I get to bring my dad to something he’s watched on tv every year & dreamed of going to #themasters #themastersgolftournament ♬ What Was I Made For? (Epilogue) [Instrumental Version] – Mark Ronson & Andrew Wyatt
