Crowd Breaks Out Into “USA” Chant As President Donald Trump Makes Surprise Appearance During First White House Tour Of His Administration

Got a special visitor on their tour.

The White House officially reopened for tours today for the first time during President Donald Trump’s second administration. As is custom, the executive residence had closed to public tours during the transition from the Joe Biden administration and Trump moving back in, to give the new administration time to get the place decorated and get settled in to work.

But today, the first group of visitors officially got to tour the White House during the second Trump term – and they were greeted by a special guest.

President Trump himself stopped by to visit with the group, welcoming them to the White House and praising First Lady Melania Trump for getting the place fixed up and decorated:

“I want to thank you very much for coming. The tour is so great, we did such a good job. The First Lady worked very hard in making it perfect, and I think you’re going to really love it. And I heard you were here and I said, ‘Let’s stop by and say hello.’

It’s a group of very smart looking people, I must say. Very smart. Maybe someday you’ll be here as the president, right? Somebody, somebody in this group has a chance.

Have a good time, have a great tour, and you’re going to give them a special tour, ok? You’re going to get a special tour. Have fun everybody.”

As Trump turned and walked away, the crowd broke out into chants of “USA,” clearly pumped to receive a visit from the president himself during the tour.

While announcing earlier this month that tours would resume, First Lady Melania Trump spoke of the importance of the history that the White House holds:

“The President and I are excited to reopen the White House to those interested in the extraordinary story of this iconic and beautiful landmark

There is much to learn about the American Presidency, the First Families who have lived here, and our Nation’s rich history from a firsthand experience at the White House. This opportunity is unique among nations around the globe — a tradition we are honored to continue for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who come each year.”

Tours of the White House are free and open to the public, with visitors being able to request tickets through their congressional representatives or senators. Of course there are some things that are off limits on the tour, but it includes the Vermeil Room, the Library, the China Room, the Blue Room, Red Room, Green Room, the State Dining Room and a peek at the White House Kennedy Garden.

One room it doesn’t include, though, is apparently one of Trump’s favorite rooms to show off in the White House: The Monica Lewinsky room.

During a recent conversation with Tucker Carlson, Kid Rock revealed a hilarious story about Trump giving him a tour of the White House the first time he joined the then-president for dinner – and he was eager to show off the room where Lewinsky and then-President Bill Clinton engaged in their sexual encounters:

“One of the first times at the White House having dinner with Sarah Palin, we go into the Oval Office to meet him and he’s just wide open…

And then he goes, ‘Rock, come here.’ And we walked down to this other room left of the Oval Office.

He goes, ‘You know what this room is?’ ‘No sir.’

He’s like, ‘This is the Monica Lewinsky room.’

Literally I felt like I was in Step Brothers. I’m like, did we just become best friends?”

I feel like the First Lady needs to make sure that room gets added to the tour.
