What a guy.
Today, the city of Philadelphia celebrated their Eagles winning Super Bowl LIX with a huge parade in downtown Philly, where all of the players and coaches went partied in streets, as they should… I mean, it was a massive crowd:
Of course, fans were excited to see their favorite players go by, especially the fan-favorite running back Saquon Barkley, who has been a standout this season and obviously played a huge role in them making the Super Bowl at all. He rushed for over 2,000 yards this season, and is a total star and class act, both on and off the field.
A video from today at the parade is now going viral online, which was shared by Sam Stafford, a Philadelphia sports reporter, where Saquon spots one of the Eagles ball boys in the crowd says hello (and something else I can’t make out), then proceeds to pick him up and pull him over the barrier to join the parade.
And not only is it sweet for him to go out of his way to include someone who was very much part of the team all season, no matter how small of a role it was, but the fact that he picked up this grown man like he was a toddler is insane.
Don’t let the “ball boy” title fool you, Saquon picked up a grown a** man like he was a feather, with one arm. This is the kind of stuff that makes sports so special and fun:

I’m not Eagles fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I am a Saquon Barkley fan and stuff like this just puts him a cut above the rest… obviously we know that he’s an incredible football player, but he seems like a great man too, which is an exceedingly rare combination for sure.
