That’s gonna leave a mark.
As expected, the “City of Brotherly Love” is having the time of their lives celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory. And who can really blame them? They dethroned the Kansas City Chiefs and kept them and their fanbase from sporting “Three-peat” merchandise. We all owe them big time. At least for that one game, the Eagles were really “America’s Team,” as far as I’m concerned.
Before the game was even officially over, the Philadelphia Eagles started celebrating their Super Bowl win – their second since 2017. They scheduled their Super Bowl parade to take place today, on Valentine’s Day, and it has already proven to be one of the rowdiest Super Bowl parades we’ve seen in recent years.
It’s such a big deal that Philadelphia closed all public schools today so everyone could join in on the celebration:

If you are to scroll through social media right now, you’ll likely find a number of viral videos from the Super Bowl parade. The event is producing viral videos left and right, such as:
-An Eagles fan puking and chanting “E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES” at the same time
-Philly fans chanting “Cooper” at one of their players who is actually Reed Blankenship
-Eagles kicker Jake Elliot lining up to kick a beer can into the crowd
And speaking of beer cans, they’ve apparently been a dangerous projectile during the Philadelphia Eagles’ big day. It’s not uncommon for brewskis to get tossed up to players and coaches as the parade buses drive on by, but from the looks of it, one fan chucked a beer can with a little too much heat for Eagles general manager Howie Roseman.
Pictures quickly started spreading online of Roseman’s forehead, which looks to have suffered a direct beer can to the dome. This one below is pretty gnarly, and it looks like the top or bottom of a thrown beer can got Roseman square in the noggin’:

With everything that’s happening during a Super Bowl parade, there’s a good chance a beer got tossed and Roseman never asked for it – or at least never saw it coming.
But guess what? The beer to the brain didn’t slow down the Eagles GM from having himself a day. He was later pictured on the parade route puffing on a victory cigar with the cut he got from the flying beer still very prominent on his forehead. If he’s lucky, that wound will leave a scar and he’ll always have that daily reminder that he won a Super Bowl right on his face:

That’s the stuff of legends right there.
And as crazy as this might sound, that wasn’t the only face-wound-via-beer that someone within the Eagles organization sustained. Star defensive back Cooper DeJean has a gnarly cut above his left eye thanks to a Bud Light beer chain that he accidentally hit himself with.
Cooper, who had the pick-six for all time in Super Bowl LIX, said that it was still the best day of his life even with the self-inflicted injury:
"Might be the best day of my life."

Man oh man… I’d tell the Philadelphia Eagles to “act like they’ve been there before, but this is exactly how they acted when they won the Super Bowl in 2017. It might be chaotic, and people might be getting hurt by beer cans, but at the end of the day, it’s just Philly being Philly.
Oh, and here’s the latest update on the nasty gash on Howie Roseman’s forehead:
