4-Star Football Recruit Boobie Feaster Goes Viral Online Because…. Well, You Know Why

With a name like that, you’re destined to become a star.

There’s a number of football players that have gone viral over the years for having… let’s just say unique names. Seems like parents that really take a swing naming their children end up reaping the benefits later down the road. Correlation doesn’t always mean causation, but there does seem to be a trend of funny named football players having success.

Here’s a list of real college football players that have made headlines recently:

-Rowdy Beers (played at FIU)

-Decoldest Crawford (played at Louisiana Tech)

-General Booty (played at Louisiana Monroe)

-De’Realyst Clark (played for Defiance College)

-Memorable Factor (played for Duke)

And guess what? We’ve got another name that will soon join that list of crazily named college football players… and his name is BOOBIE FEASTER. Formerly the number one wide receiver recruit of the 2027 class, Ethan “Boobie” Feaster decided to reclassify to 2026, meaning that he’ll be suiting up for one lucky college team a year earlier than expected.

The announcement of his reclassification turned a lot of heads on social media today:

Isn’t that crazy? Someone who was supposed to play college football in 2027 will now start in 2026 instead! That must be why the internet is so invested in this story, right? It’s not everyday that we see a talented, top prospect push his college football debut up one whole year.

Yeah I’m just joking… everyone is enamored with the story because the kid’s name is Boobie Feaster.

As I pointed out earlier, the athlete from DeSoto, Texas is actually named Ethan, but his father gave him the nickname “Boobie” at a young age. Feaster’s father grabbed it right out of Friday Night Lights, and Ethan chose to embrace it – even telling a coach at one point in his young football career:

“If you want to win, put Boobie in!”

Now, college teams will have to see if they want to put Boobie into their rosters a year earlier than expected. The 4-star recruit already had over 45 offers from colleges, including Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas and his home state of Texas. Many are predicting that he’ll end up with the Longhorns, though we’ll ultimately have to wait to hear from Boobie himself.

Currently, we’re hearing plenty from the internet at large, who has already fallen in love with Boobie Feaster and brought all of the jokes on social media:
