SEC hype

This might not be an official teaser from the SEC, but it damn sure should be. There's no better way to ring in a new era in college football's premiere conference than channeling one of the greatest country songs in the history of the genre. The upcoming fall season will be the first to feature the likes of Oklahoma and Texas as a part of the Southeastern Conference (might as well do away with the geographical conference names), which just means even more high stakes matchups during the regular season. For those not keeping track, we've got around 95 days until the college football season kicks off. We don't have long until we can waste away an entire weekend watching amateur and professional football. And make sure when the time comes that you cherish the hours spent (and parlays lost) watching absurd amounts of football. You deserve it! Some people are already jumping at the bit for college football Saturdays, so much so that one fan made an incredible, goose-bump-inducing teaser for the 2024 SEC football season. If I were the media team over at the Southeastern Conference, I'd scrap whatever I was planning and just run with this trailer (make the unofficial trailer official). Whoever put it together decided to call upon the services of Tanya Tucker's all-time-classic "Delta Dawn," and it really met the moment. Aerial shots of SEC stadiums paired with memorable moments from... days gone by... played alongside Tucker's timeless vocals, and it'll get even the casual college football fan fired up. The final portion of the video with the "SEC: It Just Means More" popping up? Chef's kiss. It doesn't get any better than this, and I'll personally be upset if this doesn't get adopted as the conference's hype video for the 2024 season. And I say that without having any affiliation to the Southeastern Conference whatsoever. Check it out: https://twitter.com/JosephManero/status/1791517670103298083 Unbelievably good. And in case you wanted to take a listen to the non-SEC-adjacent version of Tucker's 1972 classic, you can fire it up at the link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GClZv7IwtYc
