![ESPN Commentator Says He Would “Hate To Be A Chair Near Morgan Wallen” As Tennessee Volunteers Get Blown Out By Ohio State]()

His court case may be over, but the jokes just keep coming.
Morgan Wallen recently
pled guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment after being arrested back in April for throwing a chair off the rooftop of Eric Church's downtown Nashville bar, Chief's.
The chair reportedly landed near two police officers on the street below, but luckily nobody was injured in the incident - so naturally, the internet had plenty of jokes about it. Chief's bar even got in on the fun:

Morgan may have avoided jail time by pleading guilty and being sentenced to seven days in a DUI education center and two years of probation. But he can't even avoid jokes about his arrest when he tunes in to watch his Tennessee Volunteers.
Tennessee was in Columbus tonight to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in the opening round of the College Football Playoffs. And after the first three games were pretty much blowouts, everybody was hoping for at least one good game in the playoffs.
Well we didn't get it from this one either.
The Tennessee offense had no answer for the Ohio State defense, and the Buckeyes offense seemed to move the ball at will against the Volunteers, leading to a 42-17 blowout to send Ohio State on to the next round and likely ease some of the pain caused by their loss to Michigan last month.
The game was never particularly close, with Ohio State jumping out to a 21 point lead before Tennessee was able to kick a field goal and get some points on the board. And in the second half, the Buckeyes had the game well in hand - and it was so bad that even Vols fan Morgan Wallen was catching strays.
ESPN 2 was hosting an alternate broadcast of the game, anchored by the cast of the
Pat McAfee Show including Pat McAfee, AJ Hawk, Boston Connor, Darius Butler, Ty Schmit and Tone Digs. And while discussing how bad things were for the Vols, Boston Connor (whose real name is Connor Campbell) couldn't help but making a joke about Morgan Wallen's arrest:
"It is doom and gloom. Would hate to be a Tennessee fan or a chair near Morgan Wallen because they have no hope right now."

Brutal.
It wasn't the only eyebrow-raising remark from Connor during the game. Earlier in the evening, he shocked viewers while talking about Ohio State Buckeyes superfan "Big Nut" celebrating in front of Tennessee fans:
"It's terrible. I honestly am starting to feel bad for some of them. And the worst part is, Big Nut, AKA Slim Nut, is busting his nut all over their faces, because he is partying in front of them right now."

Not sure what ESPN was expecting when they tapped the
Pat McAfee Show boys to host this broadcast, but something tells me there are a few execs at the network who were fuming at some of these.
Personally though, I'm just glad we had something to make the snoozefest of a game a little more entertaining.
