![Joe Burrow’s House Was Broken Into While He Was Playing On Monday Night Football – But An SI Swimsuit Model Was There At The Time To Call Police]()

I'm sure Joe just needed a house sitter while he was out of town.
The Cincinnati Bengals and quarterback Joe Burrow were in Texas last night to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, trying to keep their longshot playoff hopes alive. And karma seemed to be on the side of the Bengals last night after they caught a lucky break on a blocked punt, when a Cowboys player touched the ball and allowed the Bengals to regain possession with just two minutes left and the game tied up.
That led to a touchdown pass from Burrow to receiver Ja'Marr Chase, and the Bengals defense managed to hold off a last-ditch effort from the Cowboys to take a 27-20 win.
But unfortunately, while the Bengals may have had some good luck on their side, it was a different story for their quarterback.
Apparently while the team was out of town, Burrow's Cincinnati home was burglarized, the latest in a string of home invasions targeting NFL players while they're at their games. Both Kansas City Chief quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce were the victims of home invasions earlier in the season.
Luckily for Burrow, though he wasn't home, the house wasn't totally unoccupied.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the break-in occurred around 8 PM and was reported by a woman who called 911 to tell them that her daughter was staying at the house while someone was trying to break in.
Well according to
TMZ, that daughter is Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton, who reportedly works for Burrow in some capacity. (Like I said, Burrow obviously just needed a house sitter and figured he might as well hire an SI Swimsuit model for the job).

Olivia also called police herself, telling dispatchers that "someone broke into my house." Burrow reportedly had an officer assigned to work at his house that night who responded after 911 was called. (Doesn't seem like they were doing a very good job anyway...)
In the police report, Olivia says that when she arrived at the house she noticed a broken window and a bedroom that had been ransacked. Though she was able to give them a list of at least some of what was taken, of course Burrow himself wasn't home to let officers know exactly what was stolen.
The break-in comes on the heels of the NFL issuing a warning to players about break-ins by "organized and skilled groups" while the players are away at games. In the memo, the league warned players not to post on social media in real-time (though it's not like their schedule isn't pretty easy to figure out) and to keep valuables hidden out of plain sight.
And apparently it helps if you hire an SI Swimsuit model to stay at your home while you're gone too.
Detectives in Cincinnati wouldn't say whether the burglary at Burrow's house was connected to the recent warning issued by the NFL. But luckily it doesn't sound like anybody was hurt, and fortunately we know that the thieves weren't able to get away with this beauty of an outfit from Burrow's closet.
