![Rob Schneider Is Creating An All-Female Talk Show To Compete With ‘The View’: “It’s Going To Be Entertaining… Not Shaming People”]()
![Rob Schneider]()
Comedian and actor Rob Schneider has a new TV show up his sleeve.
Schneider has long been a part of the entertainment industry. He got his start in stand up, and became more mainstream as a writer and cast member on
Saturday Night Live in the late 1980s and early 1990s. That basically kickstarted his movie career, scoring big blockbuster hits like
Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo in 1999 and
The Benchwarmers in 2006.
Since then, you've probably seen him in almost every Adam Sandler movie. The Sandman likes to work with his fellow movie-making friends, and Schneider is a virtual guarantee to pop up in most of Sandler's expansive media catalogue.
As of late though, Schneider has been in the news for other things - like his political views, his anti-vaccine stance, and the rocky relationship with his daughter. Rob Schneider is the father of country music singer Elle King, and
they've recently had a back and forth (without actually talking to one another) about their "toxic" relationship.
But even with that going on, the comedian has powered through and focused on a new venture. Schneider is set to introduce a new media company soon, and as he told Fox News, he's very excited about one particular aspect of the new media project:
"No Apologies Media, my new company, we're gonna do an all-ladies talk show that won't be like The View."
The actor was asked if this all-new, female-led show would be "the opposite" of
The View. At first, Schneider was hesitant to say yes to that question, but then his quick wit helped him think of a very easy joke:
"It could be, but we're just gonna do a show that's... it will be the opposite. Because this will be entertaining. It'll be funny. We'll have funny women on it that are going to tell jokes and have funny stories, and health and wellness (conversations)."
Great answer there.
Later on in the interview, the Fox News host inquired about the goal of the all-female show. Would it go after
The View? Would it air during the same time slot as the somehow long-running talk show? Schneider answered by saying:
"We're going to compete with them. Yes. I don't know if it'll be the same time slot. We're not going to announce who is doing the show yet. But that's what is happening now, and it's official. Now we're moving ahead."
As to when fans can expect this show - and presumably the rest of No Apologies Media - the comedian revealed that his venture will be available for viewing sooner rather than later:
"January. We're going to start shooting shows before the Inauguration. We have a lot of women we like, and it's all household names. You're gonna love it. It's gonna be fun. It's going to be a funny show, and it's not going to be drowning people in politics. It's not going to be shaming people."

Something tells me that Rob Schneider might be onto something here.
Based on some social media replies that were left below the video announcing No Apologies Media and the show that will act as the opposite of
The View, there seems to be an audience for what Schneider is promising to deliver:
