![Turnpike Troubadours Heavily Featured In Latest Episode Of ‘Landman’]()
![Billy Bob Landman]()
What's the verdict on Taylor Sheridan's latest series,
Landman?
Honestly, I'm still kind of on the fence. Billy Bob Thornton's character, Tommy Norris, is pretty good, and some of the oil stuff is pretty intriguing. I'm a big fan of Jon Hamm and I'm not sure anyone does big business quite like he does. If you've ever seen
Mad Man, a top 5 show of all time in my humble opinion, you know Don Draper is his signature character.
But I just cannot take the scenes with his obnoxious ex-wife and teenage daughter that has every old man in Texas starring her down. Obviously the actress, Michelle Randolph, is much older in real life (and a stone cold fox), but the fact that she's supposed to be a 17 year old girl in the show, who walks around in underwear everywhere she goes and talks to her own father so openly about male bodily fluids all over her body, I just can't with it...
And I'm not alone:

But despite all of that, I'll probably keep watching... and
the soundtrack has a lot to do with it. Taylor Sheridan and music supervisor Andrea Von Foerster proved with
Yellowstone that they can put together one of the best soundtrack Hollywood has ever seen, and I think they doubled down with Paramount's newest series,
Landman.
