Might have to actually tune into the White House press briefings if this happens.
Donald Trump is hard at work selecting his cabinet after his landslide victory over Kamala Harris in the 2024 election last week, when what was supposed to be a "close election" turned out to be Trump gaining in nearly every state over 2020 and winning every single swing state.
Now he's tasked with not only getting his agenda ready for his first days in office, but selecting his team to help him carry it out.
Trump has already announced several key appointments, including naming his campaign manager Susie Wiles as the first female White House Chief of Staff. He's also named Florida Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State (leading to calls for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to appoint rapper Pitbull to Rubio's Senate seat) and former ICE director Tom Homan, an absolute bulldog on immigration, to serve as his border czar.
Another position that Trump will have to fill in the coming days is that of Press Secretary. This is obviously an important position because in many ways the Press Secretary serves as the face of the administration. They're the one out there every day talking to the media, taking questions, addressing the country.
And let's be honest: The media isn't exactly going to be as friendly to Trump's Press Secretary as they are to Karine Jean-Pierre, who currently holds the position in President Joe Biden's administration. So you have to have somebody who can handle tough questions, stand their ground and go toe to toe with hostile reporters.
Well rumors are Trump has keyed on a trusted member of his team for the job - and dudes on the internet wholeheartedly support his choice.
A report from Mediate says that Trump attorney Alina Habba is currently the frontrunner for the job.

The 40-year old lawyer has served as Trump's legal spokesperson and a member of his legal team since 2021, representing the former (and future) president in several legal battles, including a lawsuit against The New York Times. She's frequently seen at Trump's side, and was with him on election night as the results rolled in.

And...well, let's just say all the male Trump supports are 100% behind this appointment:

Habba, who is the managing partner of Habba, Madaio & Associates LLP, a firm based in Bedminster, New Jersey and New York City, first started turning heads not only for her looks but for her handling of the media during Trump's civil trial in NYC last year in which he was accused of fraud in his business dealings.

There's been no official word from Trump on who he plans to choose for the position. But it's well-known that Trump values appearance and loyalty, and it seems like Habba has both of those.
Other names that people have thrown out are CNN contributor Scott Jennings, who has proven his skills as the lone conservative battling with the other panelists on the "news" network, and Peter Doocy, the White House correspondent from Fox News who has gone viral for his fiery exchanges with Jean-Pierre.
I'm sure we won't have to wait too long to find out who Trump selects for this important position. But if I were a betting man, I would say it's Habba's job to lose.
