Given that Kevin Bacon's
actual goats on his farm have gone viral, it's not surprising that the prolific actor was on the ball and ready to mix up a befitting "GOAT" cocktail in honor of
USA Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.
Not too long after Biles led the Americans to a gold medal in the team competition, and then finished atop the podium in the all-around individual event, Bacon rolled out a video of what he calls the "Iced-Out GOAT" cocktail.

All it really entails is a healthy pour of your favorite tequila, a whole lotta lime, chili powder, plenty of ice, and a dash of maple syrup. And of course, if you're in a very literal state of mind, you can get a baby goat clip-on to your glass like Bacon does to punctuate the drink.

OK but back to the incredible athlete who sparked this post in the first place.
Biles' accomplishments really are mind-blowing. She's well past the prime of the typical gymnast at age 27 (crazy as that sounds), and took a two-year hiatus from the mat. Still, nobody can touch her. She is quite literally peerless. Overcoming the gymnastics equivalent of the yips known as the twisties to still be this great at this stage of her career is one of the more impressive athletic achievements in sports history.
If you're such a GOAT beyond reproach and you know it, that must be a hell of a feeling.

The whole Kevin Bacon six degrees of separation phenomenon all but guarantees this "Iced-Out GOAT" will soon become the trendy beverage mixologists whip up nationwide. I admire the innovation via the dash of maple syrup. Can't say I've had a tequila-based cocktail in my lifetime with that twist to it. Sounds tasty, though. Might mess around and try that for my birthday month, if only in Biles-based solidarity.
