How about a cold beer?
Every college has a different drinking culture, but I can tell you that going to a school in Stillwater, Oklahoma, we would have never seen bottles like this sitting in a house. And going to the bars, I'm pretty sure I suffered through more than one vodka water with lime when pinching pennies. But isn't that half the fun of being in college is learning to go out and have a good time off a small amount?
Apparently, that is not the case for this group of guys. As college graduation has passed, many videos from this year's graduating class are starting to surface on my for you page, and this video made me pause. A group of graduates followed a trend showing off their drink of choice that "got them through college," and some of the bottles they are holding up are out of the price range for 95% of your typical college kids.
While the original video highlights their drink of choice as they move from one friend to the next, one version of the video breaking down the price points of each bottle has gone viral. From Don Julio 1942 to Johnny Walker Blue Label, these guys were shelling out (mommy and daddy's) big bucks for a Friday night bottle.
The only relatable kid in the video is the one who claims Bacardi got him through college, which is about $19.99 a bottle, but the rest of the group is spending upwards of $200.
Needless to say, the video's comments section is gold, with others sharing their go-to-college drinks or just roasting this group of young men.

I'm going to take a wild guess that these guys don't embody the motto of "free beer is the best beer."
