![Justin Timberlake]()
Ricky Gervais doing Ricky Gervais things.
Justin Timberlake is currently on his
Forget Tomorrow World Tour, and something tells me he's going to want to "forget today" after he was
arrested for DWI in Sag Harbor, New York. The pop star has since claimed that he
only had "one martini" before getting behind the wheel, but the note from the officer that pulled over and arrested Timberlake (and didn't recognize him because he was "too young") tells a different story:
"His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests."
All of those factors led to Timberlake being booked, thus leading to yet another celebrity mugshot that bounced around the internet:

Timberlake, who collaborated with Chris Stapleton at the 2015 CMA Awards, has ironically been very outspoken about excessive drinking. That obviously isn't a great look with his recent arrest, and since Timberlake was released, he's hired lawyer Eddie Burke Jr. to help fight the charges he faces.
My question is... can Justin Timberlake hire someone to help him with this massive burn he just suffered? I'm speaking of a burn in the
figurative sense, just to be clear. When a celebrity does something wrong, there's always another ruthless celebrity hiding in the shadows ready to make fun of them.
That celebrity is Ricky Gervais.
Famous for his "I don't give a f**k" attitude towards his fellow celebrities, he sent out this question on X (formerly Twitter) and tagged Timberlake. I may be going out on a limb here, but I don't think Justin will be responding to this one:
"Justin Timberlake, did you get the bottle of Dutch Barn Vodka I sent you the other day?"

Though that message is uncalled for... it's
incredibly funny.
All in all, it's really just par for the course for Gervais, who has spent much of the last decade (some might say his entire career) making a living by trashing Hollywood and everyone that's involved with it.
That might have been best displayed during his 2020 Golden Globes monologue, which I've kindly linked below:
