Relax, it wasn't him this time.
Of course when you see a headline about somebody throwing things from the balcony of a Nashville bar, your first thought is probably going to be
Morgan Wallen after his
high-profile chair tossing incident at Eric Church's bar earlier this year.
But this time, Morgan's in the clear.
A man from Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, not too far from Nashville, was arrested during CMA Fest over the weekend for allegedly throwing drinks at police from the second floor balcony of another Broadway bar, Honky Tonk Central.
According to
Scoop: Nashville, 28-year old Daniel Hudson threw his drink at the police below, and after they got hit, officers went into the bar to try to find the culprit. That's when other patrons pointed him out, and officers reviewed security footage to confirm that he was the one throwing the drink.
Hudson was ultimately arrested on two counts of misdemeanor assault of an officer. (I guess he escaped the felony charges that Morgan's facing because the drink didn't weigh as much as the chair).
Hudson's bond was ultimately set at $3,000, and he was granted pre-trial release on his charges.
Not real sure what would possess somebody to do this...I mean, those drinks on Broadway aren't cheap. Probably cost more than the chair Morgan threw at this point, especially at a bar like Honky Tonk Central.
