Jake Paul Mike Tyson

A flared-up ulcer has forced Mike Tyson to take a break from training for his upcoming Netflix showdown with Jake Paul, and now the YouTuber/professional boxer is exploring other prospects in the ring. Paul's fellow social media influencer, KSI, got called out on Saturday for a prospective tilt not long after he taunted Paul for the delay in the Tyson bout. https://twitter.com/KSI/status/1796670720656769463 In his public proposal to throw hands, Paul stated his desire to fight at 200 pounds — to which KSI responded quite colorfully. https://twitter.com/jakepaul/status/1796986855830794512 https://twitter.com/KSI/status/1796992618305376349 Heated to say the least. It's kind of odd that KSI implored Paul to fight just one month removed from facing Tyson, yet bristled at the prospect of fighting Paul as little as one month before whatever bout he has in August. https://twitter.com/KSI/status/1796982729231220807 Paul has taken a lot of flak for agreeing to face off with Tyson, who'll be 58 years old by the time they go at it. With KSI free after his apparent fight in August, and a tentative October or November timeline for Paul and Tyson to trade blows, we could indeed have ourselves a YouTuber clash at Madison Square Garden early next year. If there's already this much hatred being exchanged between the two, I can only imagine how intense their bout would be. KSI's boxing debut actually came against Logan Paul back in November 2019, and he won that one by split decision. Logan actually teased something interesting in the wake of the Tyson postponement: A brother-on-brother battle for ultimate bragging rights. https://twitter.com/LoganPaul/status/1796700841120084337 That seems even more intriguing to me than Jake taking on KSI. At some point, the Brothers Paul should put their skills to the test against each other, be it sometime later in 2025 or the coming years. Jake improved his record to 9-1 with a first-round TKO victory over Ryan Bourland in March. Meanwhile, KSI is coming off his first defeat in six tries to Tommy Fury this past October. I admittedly don't really engage with any of the content Jake Paul creates — the lead-up to the Tyson fight being the first time ever — but I will say, I dig his takes related to the cheap shots and hatred being slung at Caitlin Clark. https://twitter.com/jakepaul/status/1796971342329163891 https://twitter.com/jakepaul/status/1796983295382606006 Guess I'm cheering for Jake against KSI. Let's see if the two can stop trading hateful insults on the Twitterz enough to strike an agreement for an actual match.
