Bill Belichick Reportedly Asked Jordon Hudson To Wear Red Pants To Patriots Training Camp So He Could Spot Her In The Crowd

The relationship between 73-year old Bill Belichick and his 24-year old girlfriend, former cheerleader Jordon Hudson, just keeps getting more intriguing the more we learn about it.

The couple reportedly met on a flight back in 2021 and struck up a conversation, which ended with Belichick signing Hudson’s college textbook. The two kept in touch, discussing things like cheerleading routines and her college classes, but at the time the New England Patriots coach was married to his now ex-wife, Linda Holliday.

Belichick and Holliday divorced in 2023, and last year rumors began flying that the coach was in a relationship with the much-younger Hudson, something that the two confirmed when they began appearing in public together at red carpet events and even on Hudson’s social media.

Since then, there’s been plenty of reporting about their relationship, especially now that Belichick is the head coach at the University of North Carolina and Hudson is apparently involved in managing his personal business ventures. Emails were released showing that Belichick has asked UNC staff to copy Hudson on emails to him as she manages his brand on social media and in media appearances, and Hudson was even spotted on the field with Belichick at UNC football practice.

But a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning had people questioning the role that Hudson plays for Belichick. Hudson interrupted and shut down a question about how the two met, and Belichick later claimed that the interview was supposed to focus solely on his new book. (CBS denied that they had agreed to any limitations on the questions they would ask).

It was then reported that Hudson had been banned from UNC football facilities, something that the university denied in a statement, and Belichick sat down for another interview recently with Michael Strahan to apparently do some damage control and clarify the role that Hudson plays outside of being his girlfriend.

Needless to say, it’s no doubt an uncomfortable position for the notoriously private and media-averse coach to be in.

But new details continue to come out about the relationship between Belichick and Hudson, including reports that she may have been around even longer than it was initially thought.

Hudson was reportedly first spotted at a New England Patriots game, sitting in Belichick’s seat in the stands, back in 2021. And according to a new report from the New York Times, she was attending training camp back in 2023, during what would turn out to be Belichick’s final season with the Patriots.

In fact, according to the new report, Belichick even had his own way of making sure he could spot Hudson in the crowd: He asked her to wear red pants.

Belichick was also reportedly joined in the team hotel by his girlfriend the night before Patriots games, and according to at least one source, Hudson has claimed that the two are engaged to be married.

The whole thing is impossible to look away from, if for no other reason than it seems so out of character for the notoriously gruff, down-to-business Belichick. He’s always shied away from media attention (or outright rejected it), and seemed happy to be out of the spotlight and focused on football.

That’s becoming harder and harder these days, thanks to his new girlfriend. These days, he’s getting more attention than a cheerleader in red pants at Patriots practices.
