Donald Trump Credits Himself With Taylor Swift No Longer Being “Hot”

Haven’t heard much about Taylor Swift lately.

Of course a lot of that is because she wrapped up her Eras Tour back in December so she’s not out on the road, and it’s the offseason for the NFL so she’s not out in the public eye attending her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s football games. But since the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl back in February, we haven’t really seen much of Taylor out in public lately.

But Donald Trump thinks we have somebody else to thank for that: Himself, of course.

The president’s obviously not a big fan of the pop superstar, who endorsed his opponent in the last two presidential elections. And after the pop superstar endorsed Kamala Harris last fall, Trump went in on her on social media, posting on his Truth Social platform that he “hated” Taylor Swift.

Trump was at the Super Bowl this year, where he received quite the warm reception, while Swift was the target of boos from the Philadelphia Eagles fans in attendance at the game in New Orleans – something that Trump took notice of and shared videos of the contrasting receptions:

And he even threw some shade at the pop superstar when the Eagles visited the White House last month:

“It was an incredible game. A little surprising, but right from the beginning in the first quarter of the big game – which I was there. I watched in person. I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out? How did that one work out?”

Well apparently Trump still has Taylor Swift on his mind, even as he’s overseas on his historic Middle East trip through Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

In a post to his Truth Social platform this morning, Trump once again took a shot at the pop star, claiming that she’s “no longer hot” since he said that he hated her:

“Has anyone noticed that, since I said “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” she’s no longer “HOT?””

Gotta love Trump’s ability to focus on multiple things at once. The guy’s overseas signing trade deals, negotiating ceasefires and getting gifted $400 million jets and just thinks, “You know what? I haven’t talked sh** about Taylor Swift in a while, let me fire one off right quick.”

Of course I’m not sure it’s fair to say that Taylor Swift isn’t “hot” anymore. I have a feeling as soon as she pops back up with a tour announcement or starts teasing a new album, chances are she’s all you’re going to hear about for months and months yet again. And you know that as soon as football season rolls around, the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs are going to be tripping over themselves to get her on TV and use her in promos.

Still, if you’re like Trump and not a fan of Taylor Swift, it’s probably a nice break to not have to hear about her ad nauseum right now.

At least you know the president is enjoying it.
