NFL teams have really stepped up their game with these schedule announcements.
Year after year, the NFL schedule release has become more and more intricate. As a fan, you used to just check the schedule once it was out and say, “Oh cool, my favorite team plays this other team in Week 1” and so on and so forth. But now, NFL teams craft elaborate, high budget videos to officially let fan bases know what their team’s schedule for the upcoming year will look like.
And I have to say… it’s all very entertaining.
Is it all necessary? Probably not. I’ll find out the NFL schedule one way or another, and all of this hype is probably a bit manufactured just to keep the NFL in the sporting news cycle during the offseason. Though I will give credit where credit is due. Some of the NFL teams go all out, and it makes for some dare I say cinematic announcement with production value that’s through the roof.
So I thought I’d power rank some of the best ones for the upcoming 2025 NFL Season.
Honorable Mentions
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens went the Severance route, parodying the hit Apple TV series and doing a very respectable job of it. The video hit on all of the best Severance moments, including the schedule being “mysterious and important.”
Chicago Bears
Da Bears went for a New Girl reunion, calling in Lamorne Morris and Jake Johnson to help with a schedule release video that featured the schedule being out to long list of the wrong Ben Johnsons.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers got in on the Minecraft craze. They used the most popular video game in the world to poke fun at other teams, all while revealing their NFL schedule. Barely missed out on being in my personal top five… it was definitely impressive (but they made fun of my Minnesota Vikings).

5. Indianapolis Colts
They originally had a Minecraft inspired video as well, but then deleted it after it featured a segment showing a Dolphin with a Tyreek Hill jersey on getting arrested. They said they took it down because of that and some issues with Microsoft, but you’d have to imagine that the Miami Dolphins thing was the main issue.
So credit to the Colts for quickly pivoting and putting out this thread of “really good schedule art” that was done by the talented, viral sensation known as NBA Paint. It’s exactly what it sounds like… they used the paint computer program to create drawing that depicted each week’s matchup. Sometimes less is more.

4. Seattle Seahawks
This one finds itself at number four solely because of the nostalgia factor. Seattle really struck a chord with this vintage action figure style video, and they even did it in 4:3 ratio (look it up kids).
Like seriously… I almost shed a tear watching this. They perfectly encapsulated how exciting toy commercials on TV used to be. I haven’t seen one now in years, until the Seahawks decided to revive the art form with their schedule video.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville chose to strike the iron while it’s hot with influencer Ashton Hall. Remember when you couldn’t pull up social media without seeing everyone roasting this guy for his morning routine videos?
Well now, Hall effectively roasted himself. At the very least, he did a little self-deprecation and helped out the Jaguars announce their 2025 schedule.
2. Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titan can’t miss with their schedule release videos. A couple of years ago, they really set the bar high when they went out on Broadway in Nashville and got tourists to help them make the announcements.
This time around, the Music City football team decided to parody those drug commercials that never stop running on television (gives big “CouplaBeers” vibes). The medication? Schedule-rizi, which they say can be used to treat moderate-to-severe FSW (Football Season Withdrawal).

1. Buffalo Bills
And finally, we’ve got this A.I. masterpiece that the Buffalo Bills rolled out. You might be saying, “Woah, I don’t want to support a schedule release video that was made with artificial intelligence.” I completely understand that, but this is not what you think.
The Bills used A.I. to make their announcement… but not the A.I. you are probably thinking of. They somehow convinced NBA legend and former Philadelphia 76er Allen Iverson to help with the schedule release. It was hilarious, well-executed, and deserving of the number one spot on this power ranking.
