Well, they definitely had this coming for ’em.
Last night, Saturday Night Live did not miss the chance to poke fun at Bill Belichick and his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson’s, relationship, during the Cold Open. The episode was hosted by Quinta Brunson and featured pop star Benson Boone as the musical guest.
But before we get to the SNL skit, you should know some of the background surrounding what went down recently with Belichick, 73, and Hudson, 24, in case you somehow missed all of that I don’t know how you could, it’s been making headlines for about a week now… but there was an extremely viral, CBS Sunday Morning interview last weekend where Jordon stepped in and took control of the conversation.
During the televised conversation, Jordon sat off to the side and watched intently as Bill was questioned about a wide array of topics. When interviewer Tony Dokoupil asked how the couple met, which has already widely been covered, Hudson quickly chimed in from off camera to shut it down:
“We’re not talking about this.”
It was an incredibly awkward moment that seemed to catch the interviewer off guard, and when Dokoupil asked about the photos of their relationship that Hudson shared on social media, Belichick didn’t seem interested in discussing that either:
“I’m on some of those social media platforms, but I honestly don’t follow them.”
She also reportedly stormed off set at one point and caused a 30-minute delay, which is probably the most unprofessional thing you could possibly do in an interview like this:
“We’re not talking about this.”

There’s a 48-year age difference between Bill and the former cheerleader, who reportedly met on a flight a few years ago and kept in touch after striking up a conversation. She previously claimed that they met on a flight in February of 2021, while Hudson was a student at Bridgewater State University. TMZ reported back then that Belichick approached her after noticing she was reading a textbook on Deductive Logic and signed it with his Super Bowl victories… what a flex.
And she’s apparently even helping Belichick out in his new job, as recently-released emails showed that Belichick had asked UNC staff members to copy Hudson on emails to him so she could help the team out with social media, and Hudson expressing her concerns with comments about their relationship on the team’s social media posts. Hudson has also been spotted helping out at UNC football practice, which led to a lot of comments – and some concerns from Tar Heel fans (I’d be seriously concerned if I was a Tar Heel fan).
It’s just a weird situation all-around, and the fact that she’s now being put in charge of his business ventures seems like an absolutely horrible idea to me. I mean, she reportedly filed a trademark for him called “Trail of Salty Tears.” Who in the world signed off on that? Insane… And honestly, the statement he released yesterday doesn’t clear anything up, either.
Bill pretty much just defends Jordon and claims there was an agreement beforehand that the only questions would be about his book, though I find that very hard to believe, and CBS released a statement saying they agreed beforehand, via his publicity (who wasn’t actually there) that it would be a wide-ranging interview, as is typical for these types of segments, so I’m inclined to believe them.
His family has even started speaking out about it, and I’ve seen tons of reports about rumors that Hudson shut down the idea of Chapel Hill being featured on Hard Knocks this season, among many other things, like her newly acquired $8 million real estate portfolio. I have no issue with people who have age gaps in their relationship, but this just feels so extreme and I definitely think there’s a lot going on we don’t know about, obviously.
And one more fun fact… her last ex… a 64-year-old businessman. Seems like there is a pattern here…
But SNL wants to “make girlfriends young again,” which was one of the executive orders James Austin Johnson signed during his reprised role as President Donald Trump. Talking to Mikey Day, playing Stephen Miller (the president’s deputy chief of staff), as he explains the purpose of the order (which is part of the joke as President Trump has signed tons of them since he took office in January):
“Sir, this order will make it socially acceptable for a man in his 70s to date a 24-year-old.”
Johnson, as President Trump, responded:
“That’s right. We’re calling it ‘The Belichick Law.’ We’re going to make girlfriends young again. Old men can now date far younger women. We like that. It’s hot! But in reverse, it’s quite disgusting, right? Very ‘Dateline.’ Did you see Belichick girlfriend? She’s pretty hot, right?”
Based on her highly-publicized tracklist, I don’t think Jordon’s gonna love this one… check it out:
