![Clooney and Pitt]()
Sound the alarms... Brad Pitt and George Clooney are BACK.
To be clear, Pitt never really left. Clooney, on the other hand, has stepped away from starring roles to focus on directing. The salt-and-peppered movie star hasn't appeared in a movie since 2022, so the fact that we're getting a new movie with Clooney
in front of the camera is worth getting excited about.
Not only is Clooney coming back, he's once again teaming up with Brad Pitt. Fans of the
Ocean's franchise (and the cult classic
Burn After Reading) have likely longed for the older action stars to get back together, and they can finally rejoice now that Pitt and Clooney will appear in an upcoming thriller titled
Wolfs.
Directed by Jon Watts (
Spider Man: No Way Home), the film will feature Pitt and Clooney in co-starring roles. Not much is known about the movie, which is expected to hit theaters in September of this year, though a short-and-sweet synopsis was shared on the film's IMDB page:
"Wolfs follows two lone wolf fixers who are assigned to the same job."
Sounds to me like a fusion of an action thriller and a buddy comedy. If that's the case, moviegoers will be in for a treat with the on-screen chemistry that Brad Pitt and George Clooney have shared over the years. That back-and-forth charm was on full display in the "first look" of
Wolfs, which just featured the two stars riding around in a car together.
It's a simple teaser, yet it's somehow captivating:

Go ahead and take my money. That's all I need to see.
The trailer for the somewhat mysterious film drops tomorrow, so we'll know more then. But it looks like the internet doesn't need much more encouragement to go and see this one:
