NASCAR Champion Kevin Harvick’s Stunning North Carolina Mansion Is On The Market For Over $12 Million

A stunning home fit for a NASCAR champion. Last fall, Kevin Harvick purchased the North Carolina mansion used in the movie Talladega Nights for $6.75 million. Located on Lake Norman in Cornelius, North Carolina, it sits on 1.3 total acres and comes in at over 12,000 square feet. And a few days ago, Harvick put his former south Charlotte mansion on the market for a cool $12.5 million, according to the Charlotte Business Journal. Along with his wife DeLana, Harvick has owned the property since February of 2014, when it was purchased for about $3.33 million. The 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion recently stepped out from behind the wheel, retiring last season after 23 full-time seasons and 60 wins in NASCAR’s top series. He has since joined the FOX broadcasting team in the booth for Cup Series races, and also moved into a new home. And I guess it's time to finally say goodbye to the old house, which was obviously a great investment, as Corcoran HM Properties has the mansion, which is located in a Southpark subdivision, listed for sale at $12,500,000, to be exact. The Southpark area is known as one of the more highfalutin areas of Charlotte, to put it in Southern terms, though most people involved in NASCAR, especially the drivers, do live in the Lake Norman area, so I'm surprised he didn't move sooner. But also, it would be a hard to let this place go... it's a literal dream home featuring six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, three half-baths and 9,157 square feet. It sits on over four acres, and is gated along with a pool, guest house, gym, arcade, golf simulator and more.
