Stone Cold Steve Austin Crashes ATV Into Barricade At WrestleMania 41, Sends Woman Flying Back Into Her Seat

Reckless driving at WrestleMania 41.

Yesterday was a significant day for many people. We had Easter Sunday, 4/20, and WrestleMania 41—truly a holiday for all walks of life.

Last night WWE legend, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin AKA The Texas Rattlesnake made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania sending fans into a frenzy as he rode up to the top of the stage on a four wheeler before riding down to the ring and taking a few joy laps around it, then getting into the ring to hype up fans before the wrestling performance. Of course, fans were stoked to hear the glass-shattering introduction of his WWE theme song, but some of that glass shattering might have been actual glass as Austin was having trouble operating the vehicle.

Austin crashed his four-wheeler not once but twice during his WrestleMania 41 appearance.

The first crash, thankfully, was not widely captured on camera, as only fans sitting on the side stage saw the incident. Before making his grand entrance, Austin totally missed the wide ramp he was supposed to take to get to the top of the stage, bumping into the black wall next to it. After his “oopsie” moment, Austin threw the four-wheeler into reverse to try again, this time nailing which fork in the road to take, sending him to the top of the stage for his grand entrance moment.

The second crash, however, was not as well covered as it happened right near the ring. After his introduction, Austin rolled down the long ramp toward the wrestling ring, taking a few laps around to hype up the crowd. However, before he could complete his second lap, he lost control of the vehicle and ran into the wall. While nothing looked damaged from the crash footage, the force was enough to throw one fan standing at the barrier off balance, sending her back into her chair.

On air, Austin quickly stood up, appearing to check on the fan to make sure she was okay. However, when the WrestleMania broadcast went live, the production companies cut out the moment and then edited to Austin in the ring speaking to the fans.

Austin finished his hype up speech with his signature move of crushing two beers together and pouring them all over himself, sending fans into a frenzy.

Maybe Stone Cold had a few too many cold ones before taking the stage, eh? Either that or he was hit with the pre-show jitters before his appearance, given his trouble operating the four-wheeler.

Interestingly, though, after the clip of his second crash was shared on social media, fans began to speculate that the woman had fallen on purpose to get compensated in some way. Thankfully, this woman looked okay, and hopefully isn’t too bruised after her fall, given it was to her chair and not all the way to the ground.
