Arkansas FedEx Driver Goes Viral Hauling A** Down The Road During Tornado Warning: “This Guy Deserves A Raise”

“East bound and down, loaded up and truckin’…”

That’s all I had going through my mind as I watched this epic viral video.

Over the last few nights, horrible storms have hit the southeast. Last night, Middle Tennessee averaged roughly 3 inches of rain, combined with high-speed winds that stirred up tornados in the western part of the state. But before those storms reached Tennessee, they were out west, moving through Arkansas.

In fact, the New York Post reported that in northeastern Arkansas, a “wedge tornado” touched down, leaving nearly 40,000 citizens without power. The tornado fell into the EF-3 category, potentially strong, with multiple vortices swirling around its base.

Even storm chasers were left wanting to keep some distance between this powerful twister and themselves.

While most citizens were in their tornado shelters, in their bathtubs, or basements, keeping safe from this massive storm, one FedEx driver was risking it all to make sure deliveries were received on time.

In a viral video, a TikTok user was trying to capture the magnitude of the storm on camera, from the nearly pitch black clouds to the massive lightning strikes, which would have made for a National Geographic-worthy shot. However, it was disrupted when a massive double semi-truck went hauling down the road in front of him.

With FedEx plastered on the side of both trailers, it was clear that this FedEx employee was dedicated to his mission to deliver (and probably to get his a** out of that storm too).

The six-second video, paired with Luke Combs’ “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” blaring in the background, makes for a cinematic masterpiece that I had on loop an embarrassing number of times before deciding to write about it.

While the viral moment is epic, I can only imagine how scary it was for this FedEx driver. Many viewers quickly filled up the comments section, noting that this driver needs a raise and being impressed with his dedication to his job.

Check out some of my favorite comments left on this post.
