Spirit Airlines Traveler Has Tantrum In Florida Airport That (For Some Reason) Made Her Strip Naked

You may not be able to count on Spirit Airlines to get you where you are wanting to go on time, but you can always count on them when it comes to generating headline-worthy stories.

The budget airline has a way with getting national attention – typically through something going viral online. Whether it be their patented long delayed flights, or their dirt-cheap fares, Spirit is a mainstay… as a desperate, last resort. While all of these other airlines are offering free digital in-flight entertainment, Spirit is trying to be the first to offer physical in-flight and pre-flight entertainment.

Take this video out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for example. As airline travelers waited at their gate (G12 to be exact) in the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, one woman decided that she’d make herself the main character of the day. How did she do that? Well, she stripped down to nothing but her skivvies and paraded around the airport – aimlessly yelling about something.

Now I don’t know about you, but I’ve never gotten so mad at the airport – or anywhere for that matter – to where my natural reaction is to strip down naked. I don’t know what’s going through this woman’s head, but it sure does seem like her taking almost all of her clothes off only made the situation worse.

There are multiple people in the video (including a police officer) that attempt to give back the clothes that she had taken off and left strewn across the gate. As you’ll see, she wasn’t interested in returning to her clothed state:

The woman was seen with minimal clothes on, yelling at someone before a police officer arrived and told her to put her shirt back on.

Don’t you just love airports?

It’s crazy to think you could be walking in towards the TSA line one minute, and the next, you could set your eyes upon a woman having a full-on, clothes-off tantrum right next to you. And it’s very fitting that Spirit Airlines is the back drop to this video. Fitting for the airline that charges passengers for a cup of water.

I wish I could say that social media was surprised when they saw this video, but they actually chalked it up as “par for the course” for Spirit:
