18 seconds of pure gold.
The advertising space is wild these days. Companies shell out millions and millions of dollars to design and create ads for their brand, and then have to pay for them to be placed on social media channels, broadcasting networks, billboards, newspapers, websites, podcasts… every media channel imaginable. For Super Bowl LIX in 2025, a 30-second commercial spot would run you around $8 million, marking a new record high for Super Bowl ad prices. That’s just to air it on TV, not produce the commercial, pay the actors, etc…
You might get a solid ROI if the advertisement is really great, but think about the last time you saw an ad and immediately went and bought the product or were influenced to buy it based on the ad. It’s hard to calculate the exact effectiveness of an ad, and sometimes, it’s just about staying top of mind… like everybody knows what Coca-Cola is.
But this Canada-based company has cracked the code for low-spend advertising success. What’s their secret? Going viral again and again on TikTok.
The company, Young Farts RV Parts (which is a 12/10 brand name), is a Alberta based company that sells parts for older RVs and campers. Given the resurgence in folks having RVs and campers to travel around the country, with some citizens living out of their campers full time, this is a genius business idea.
They’ve also expanded into the United States, allowing RV owners all over North America to shop for parts that their traditional Camping World might be lacking.
The two young farts that own this business are not who’d you expect seeing running a company like this. But clearly the RV and camping marketed needed these young farts because they’ve cracked the code for wanting folks to get RVs or become interested in the lifestyle.
Their whole vibe reminds me of Letterkenny or Trailer Park Boys in the best way possible.
Their latest ad is going mega-viral on TikTok, earning 4.3 million views 24 hours after posting, with thousands of comments and likes. Their RV repair jingle and comically bad singing have captured the hearts ot TikTok viewers, and I can’t get enough. The a cappella single goes as follows:
“Is your RV f**ked and it needs some repairing?
Your wife keeps moaning, b*tching, and swearing
Did your pipes freeze up and you burst a line?
Well holy f**k we’ve got the parts online
So if you need some parts to put your b*tch back together
Come and shop with us and get your sh*t together.”
Ah, rhyming together with together always hooks your customers. The backdrop of this jingle, being beat-up RVs in their shop, adds extra value to the viewer, giving off the impression that they know exactly what they are talking about.
This is how you think smarter and not harder with a marketing plan. They hit their target market right on the head with this organically created video.
Check it out.
