Did you hear that? It was the sound of thousands of guys with no shot at all of dating Sydney Sweeney gasping at the exact same time.
In case you didn’t know, Sydney Sweeney is quite the popular figure in 2025. Though her breakout role is credited to the Netflix show Everything Sucks!, most people know her from HBO’s teen drama Euphoria. She’s since gone on to star in movies like Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, the viral rom-com Anyone But You, and Sweeney was even a cast member in Season Two of the highly touted White Lotus series.
No matter how you draw it up, Sydney Sweeney can help a movie or show’s ratings.
The 27-year-old actress especially moves the needle on social media. I won’t encourage you to dive into the comment sections of her post. The feedback she gets is crude and unusual to say the least. But people (specifically men) really enjoy following along with what she shares online, and some eagle-eyed fans have noticed that the known-t0-be engaged movie and TV star has deleted pictures with her fiancé off of her social media accounts.
Now that might not seem like huge news, but this comes only a month after Sydney Sweeney postponed her wedding to her fiancé of three years, Jonathan Davino.

The couple were first linked together back in 2018, and made headlines because of the age gap between the 27-year old actress and 41-year old Davino. And they were reportedly engaged in 2022, with plans to get married this coming May. According to TMZ, the wedding was pushed back due to the couple’s busy schedule, but now with the deleted picture aspect thrown it, there’s some wiggle room for reckless speculation… and by that, I mean there might be some trouble in paradise.
Obviously, I’m not going to sit here and root against a couple having a successful relationship. The same can’t be said for the internet though. When they heard that Sweeney gave the ax to a kissing pic of her and her fiancé, they were pleasantly surprised. Once again, TMZ had the lead on this story… since being incredibly involved and plugged into the lives of celebrities is kind of their thing.
