Kid Rock Dismisses “White Woke Liberals” Who Think He’s Racist: “F*ck ‘Em”

Nobody really thought Kid Rock cared what other people thought about him, right?

The rocker has made perfectly clear that he’s not worried about pleasing other people with his opinions, or afraid of getting “canceled” for speaking his mind. During an interview with Tucker Carlson a couple years, Kid Rock called himself “uncancelable” because he just doesn’t care:

“I am uncancelable… because I don’t give a fuck.”

I mean, he’s not wrong…

“I’m not in bed with any big corporate things at the end of the day, there’s nobody that beholden to, no record companies no corporate interests no nothing, you can’t cancel me.

I love it when they try.”

Good place to be in…

Of course over the years he’s drawn plenty of criticism for comments he’s made, with critics calling him “racist” or “homophobic” for his support of President Donald Trump. But during a recent interview with Bill Maher on his Club Random podcast, Kid Rock dismissed those who call him racist as “woke white liberals.”

Early on in the conversation, Maher was speaking on their differing political opinions but said that he believed they could find some common ground:

“I don’t think you’re a bad guy, and I don’t think you’re a racist, which liberals do.”

But rather than arguing with the left over whether he’s racist, Kid Rock said he would rather just troll them with his own comments:

“Yeah, white woke liberals think I’m a racist. Fuck yeah. Then to them, fuck yeah I am. Fuck ’em. I’d rather just fuckin’ horn dog into it and be like, ‘Yeah!'”

He delivered that last line while flipping the bird, so it’s clear that he has no problem playing into the stereotype that they’ve created for him. But as a guy who came up in the Detroit rap scene, and has worked with pretty much everybody in the music industry at this point over his long career, Kid Rock actually runs with a pretty diverse crowd.

During a previous interview with Maher, the rocker spoke about performing at Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration despite the fact that he (obviously) didn’t vote for him, and said that he has one of the most diverse bands out there right now:

“I mean, my whole business is Democrats. I mean, so to speak. Not my whole business. You know, I live in Nashville now, but that’s the world I’ve operated in for years and years.

I mean, half my band’s, you know, liberal, gay, or black, or this… you know? We have one of the most diverse bands out there. Not because of any of this DEI sh*t. Just because they’re the best at what they do, and we all love each other and get along.”

Of course his critics are never going to care about that, because at this point anybody who supports Trump is racist, homophobic, you name it. But if there’s anybody who doesn’t care about what those people have to say about him, it’s clear that it’s Kid Rock.
