Florida Woman strikes again.
In the same vein that Florida Man can perform unhinged acts that often lead to criminal charges, seeing a Florida Woman’s actions in the wild is usually on the same level, if not more unhinged, than Florida Man’s actions.
On today’s episode of Florida Woman in the Wild, we have a woman involved in a gas station brawl, leading a man’s face to be sliced open with a Pringles can. Shanika Serdahl, 28, is accused of using the famed chip’s container as a weapon when she found herself in the middle of a gas station altercation.
Thursday, March 6th, Orange County police were called to an Orlando 7-Eleven. Orange County Deputy Adams responded to the fight, identifying a man as Martin Milburn when he got to the scene, reported WESH2.
According to Adams, as he was talking with Milburn, he noticed a significant gash above the man’s eyebrow, which led police to learn about Serdah’s weapon of choice.
“While speaking with Martin, I observed that Martin had a significant cut on his right eyebrow and below his eye, causing him to bleed.”
The Post reported that authorities also commented on the status of the injury, noting:
“The cut looked significant and appeared that it would leave a scar and permanent disfigurement.”
According to staff at the gas station, the assault appeared to be unprovoked. At the time of writing, no reports have linked Serdahl to Martin.
“All the guy was doing (was) informing me of another male customer that was laying down on the side of the building.”
After Martin expressed concern for the man outside of the building, Serdahl approached him, called him a “b*tch” and then used the Pringles can to assault him.
“The female called the guy a b*tch and whacked him with the Pringles.”
After Serdahl had assaulted Martin, she fled the scene, but police later found her with the alleged Pringles can on her body. Confirming she was the culprit of the crime. She is now facing aggravated battery charges as she waits for her trial.
I guess having the Pringles can on her person proved that the canister was more than a weapon, but she also picked them up as a quick snack from the convenience store…Hopefully, she got to enjoy a few before she was detained. These two comments left on The Post’s coverage of the crimes perfectly sum up how on-brand this is for Florida.
“Florida never disappoints.”
“Florida woman has been making a lot of headlines of late.”
She sure has…
