Making the most of a terrible situation.
A powerful line of storms plowed through the midwest this past week, and tornados that spun up as a part of the strong cell unfortunately led to some fatalities in Iowa. It's been reported that the twister that ripped through the "Hawkeye State" registered as at least an EF-3, though damage surveys could increase that ranking.
The town of Greenfield, Iowa was especially hit hard by the violent natural disaster. Homes were leveled, trees were splintered to their trunks, and neighborhoods were made unrecognizable. You can view the distinct path of destruction in the video below:

It's always crazy to see some homes reduced to rubble, while other only a couple of blocks away appear untouched.
One Iowa resident whose home was unfortunately right in the path of the tornado lost basically everything. When a news team went out to the impacted area in Greenfield, homeowner Bradley Gebbie happily took some time to speak with the media, and used the platform to his advantage.
You can't really blame someone for asking for help after they've gone through a tragically sad situation like losing their home. And you have to admire the fact that after the devastating loss of his house, all this guy was really worried about was getting a replacement set of golf clubs that were damaged beyond repair by the twister:
"I lost a lot, including my golf clubs. I had like three grand into that. I'd like to shoutout Taylormade and Titleist and Callaway. I really need new sets, or a new set. I lost (mine) and I just really love golf."

And in a simple case of "ask and you shall receive, golf club manufacturers at Callaway got back to the Iowa resident with a hopeful reply. They heard the man loud and clear, and offered up an undisclosed deal to get Bradley Gebbie back on the golf course sooner rather than later:
