KT Smith’s Current Husband Responds After Fans Beg Bunnie Xo Podcast With Him: “Nothing Good Is Going To Come From Me Blasting Anything”

Luke Scornavacco is speaking out.

This week, Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, released an explosive episode of the Dumb Blonde Podcast with Morgan Wallen’s ex, KT Smith. KT shares a 5-year-old son, Indigo, with Wallen, and the two were previously engaged in an on-again, off-again relationship between 2016 and 2019.

Once the two called it quits for good, KT got into a relationship with TikToker Luke Scornavacco, and the two dated for two years before tying the knot. However, after nine months of marriage, KT and Luke publicly announced they were getting divorced. Smith opened up about what led to her wanting a divorce.

I love Luke. I’ll always love Luke. Throughout our relationship, I just had issues with certain things, and like, we both did social media, and that’s basically I feel like impossible for two people to both do that career and for it to be lasting. For me, like I had said earlier, I want to be in a soft girl era and not feel like I have to take care of so much.

But I was taking care of the bills, all of the bills except for half the rent, and that’s just also who I am as a person. Like, I offered to do it, but then it gets to a point where it’s like, I don’t wanna have to hold everything together. Take care of the chickens and do manly things like that, lawn work and all that stuff. The social media thing was kind of an ick for me, and that was my fault for getting into it knowing that he did that.”

Smith admitted that she knew social media gave her the ick before the choice to get married, and when Bunnie pressed more on the topic, KT admitted that it being an ick comes from past relationship trauma…cough cough Morgan Wallen.

“Okay, the ick does come from a past trauma and I didn’t want Luke to feel like, get all of his validation from all these strangers and women on the internet and then it turn into what it did in my prior relationship. And secretly, I guess I was scared of that. Guys hurt so much different, once they’re hurt once, they kind of build up a wall. So once we announced that we’re getting divorced, I was like, ‘Hey, let’s work on things.’”

Although KT announced they were getting divorced, she said on the podcast that it’s still up in the air if they will go through with it. She and Luke have talked extensively, and when she brought up working through it, she wanted him to fight for them. But given the public announcement, it sounds like they might be headed toward divorce.

After a clip of KT talking about the divorce went viral, she began catching a lot of heat from social media. She noted that she was the problem, which she played into by posting a video singing along to Morgan Wallen’s “I’m The Problem.”

“I swear Luke dodged a bullet with this one.”

“Hates social media but complaining about life problems on social media.”

“Don’t see him as manly ?!?? Wow… that’s pretty harsh…”

“She doesn’t have a clue what she actually wants.”

Fans also filled the comments on the video, begging Bunnie Xo to invite Luke on as a guest because there are two sides to every story. I have to admit, that’s an episode I would be SAT for because while KT had things that would give her the ick, I bet Luke has some things to say about her mannerisms or tendencies that give him the ick.

However, that dream of hearing Luke’s side of the story was short-lived as he made a response video, sharing with fans that he would not go on a podcast if asked.

“I just wanted to get on here and say one thing about this podcast, and quite honestly, the only reason I’m even saying anything is because it feels like a million people have been asking me to share my side of the story. At the end of the day, this has been one of the most difficult times of my life, and nothing good is going to come from me blasting anything or any intimate details about our relationship online for millions of people to voice their opinions. 

I care and love for KT very dearly, and the last thing I want is there to be any negativity thrown her way. She is the mother of an amazing child who deserves to hear and see nothing but beautiful and positive things about his mother when he grows up. 

With that being said, I am so grateful for all the love and support. All I ask is that there’s nothing but positivity spread in both directions. God bless you all.”

While I would love to hear Luke’s side, I respect and agree with his point. KT got slammed for sharing personal details about their relationship, which I am sure hurt Luke’s feelings, so there is no reason for him to do the same. Also, his statement about what Indigo sees as he grows up is very valid.

Social media quickly filled up his comments section, saying that his response was well spoken, and even though KT is older than him, he shows much more maturity than her.
