Now THAT is how you celebrate winning a Super Bowl.
The Philadelphia Eagles are still riding high following their Super Bowl LIX victory, and who could blame them? They dethroned the Kansas City Chiefs and kept them and their fanbase from sporting “Three-peat” merchandise. We all owe them big time. At least for that one game, the Eagles were really “America’s Team,” as far as I’m concerned.
As soon as the game was over, the Philadelphia Eagles and the “City of Brotherly Love” started celebrating their Super Bowl victory – their second since 2017. They scheduled their Super Bowl parade to take place on Valentine’s Day, and it should be quite the rowdy atmosphere when the wheels on the buses get rolling (you thought I was going to say “go round and round,” didn’t you?).
Oh, and Philly went ahead and closed all public schools on Friday just for the celebration:

And if you think that’s cool, just wait until you see what Saquon Barkley got for all of his offensive linemen.
It’s become commonplace for quarterbacks to gift their offensive line with gifts around Christmas time. There were even a couple of gifts that went viral this past year, like Brock Purdy gifting all of 49ers O-line trucks, and Joe Burrow surprising the guys in the trenches for the Bengals with samurai swords.
Those gifts area great and all, but they all pale in comparison to winning the Super Bowl. The Philly offensive linemen – which dominated the Chiefs by the way – probably thought their week couldn’t get any better after helping the Eagles secure yet another Lombardi Trophy. Then Saquon literally and figuratively said, “Hold my beer.”
NBC Sports reporter John Clark broke the news on social media that Barkley, along with Bud Light, would be gifting a truckload of beer to each of the offensive lineman for the Eagles… just in time for Philly’s Super Bowl parade. I like to imagine that one of the O-lineman said, “I could drink a truckload of beer,” after winning the “Big Game,” and Saquon decided to make their dreams come true.
Clark also noted that for Philadelphia’s special day tomorrow, all of the Bud Light will temporarily be rebranded to better suit the Eagles:
“Saquon Barkley along with Bud Light has gifted each of his offensive linemen a truckload of Bud Light. Each lineman gets a truck of beer. Bud Light tomorrow for parade day will be Bird Light.”

Saquon Barkley had a season for the ages, as he officially set the NFL single-season rushing record in the Super Bowl. He’s without a doubt an unbelievable talent (how did the Giants let him leave?), but throughout the season, Barkley was always giving credit to his offensive line.
So then he gave them all beer once the job was done.
Philadelphia’s Super Bowl Parade celebrating their most recent championship will start at 11 a.m. ET. and will take off from Lincoln Financial Field. Around two hours afterwards (or however long it takes to get through the rowdy parade route), the Eagles will have their official championship ceremony.
And with each of the guys in the trenches getting gifted a semi-truck full of Bud Light Bird Light, keep an eye out for five incredibly intoxicated offensive linemen….
