Man, who could have seen this coming?
It’s been a wild couple weeks for Kanye West. The rapper and his wife, Bianca Censori, made headlines after walking the red carpet at the Grammy Awards a couple of weeks ago…and not just because they weren’t there for the show.
West and Censori showed up on the red carpet with the wife wearing a long fur coat. But once they got in front of photographers, Censori ditched the coat and revealed what she had underneath…which was a see-through dress and nothing else.
It was clearly just a publicity stunt, and it worked because that’s pretty much all I even remember about the Grammys (other than Beyonce winning best country album, but that’s another story). And Kanye capitalized on the momentum with a wild posting spree over on Twitter that featured some…well let’s just say some wildly offensive and downright disgusting tweets.
During the multi-day rant, Kanye praised Hitler, asked President Donald Trump to pardon accused sexual predator Diddy, and ended by posting several hardcore porn videos before apparently deleting his account entirely.
He also bought an ad that aired during the Super Bowl – but when visitors went to the website, there was only one option in the store: A $20 t-shirt with a Nazi swastika. The website was taken down by Shopify shortly after the ad ran on Sunday.
It’s obviously not the first time we’ve seen this bizarre behavior from Kanye, but apparently it may have been too much for Censori.
According to the Daily Mail, Kanye and his wife have split up and are planning to file for divorce in the coming days.
Censori is reportedly living in the couple’s $35 million Los Angeles home, while Kanye is…well, who knows where he is.
At one point during his Twitter rant, Kanye claimed that he has “dominion over” his wife, and says that while she wanted to pull her stunt on the red carpet, she wouldn’t have been able to do it without his approval.
Censori is, of course, Kanye’s second wife, after he and ex-wife Kim Kardashian divorced in 2022. The rapper and producer married then Censori, an Australian architect and model who works for Ye’s clothing brand, Yeezy.
The two were first publicly linked back in 2022, and were later married in an informal ceremony. Since then, the couple have drawn plenty of criticism for their antics, including an investigation by authorities in Venice after the couple posted photos of themselves on a water taxi with Kanye’s pants pulled down and Censori’s head in his lap.
Kanye also seems to be a fan of showing off his naked wife, with Censori often spotted wearing little to nothing in public and leading critics to call it a “humiliation ritual” for Kanye’s wife.
There’s no doubt that Kanye is one of the most talented rappers, maybe ever. But man, it sure seems like he’s gone off the deep end (or maybe he’s always been there and just isn’t afraid to show it publicly now). Either way, it seems like his behavior may finally be too much for Censori to handle.
