“Now I Like Him Lesser”– Cardi B Is Mad At Donald Trump For…Ruining Her $3,000 Shoes At The Super Bowl

Prayers up for Cardi B’s $3,000 shoes.

Donald Trump became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl this past weekend (which is pretty crazy when you think about it) when he headed down to New Orleans to attend Super Bowl LIX between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. And it seemed like the crowd enjoyed having the president there, with Trump receiving a massive cheer when he was shown on the big screen during the national anthem.

But apparently not everybody was happy about having 47 in the building.

Security at the Superdome was already heightened not just because it’s the Super Bowl but also because of the terrorist attack on Bourbon Street on New Year’s Day. And of course, with Trump in town, things were ramped up even more with the addition of the Secret Service.

And Cardi B wasn’t happy about it.

The rapper, who endorsed Trump’s opponent Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential election, took to Instagram live after the game to complain about the president being at the game. And apparently, because the Secret Service had set up a security perimeter around the Superdome, Cardi B was forced to walk to the stadium instead of being able to take a cart directly to the entrance – which she says caused her to ruin her shoes.

“I’m so f*cking mad today, because you know Donald Trump and shit, he was at the Super Bowl. And they was giving us a hard time. Oh my gosh, the Secret Service was not playing in that motherfucker. The Secret Service was not playing to get into that motherfucking stadium. Oh my God…

They stopped all the little carts and shit because Trump was there. Look how fucked up my shoes. Look at my shoes. These shoes cost me three bands. Oh cousin Trump. Now I like him lesser. Now I like him lesser. Because you ain’t had to go to no damn Super Bowl. Fucking up my shoe. Now I don’t really like him.”

I mean, this sounds like the epitome of first world problems. Wearing out your $3,000 shoes because you had to walk to the Super Bowl? Yeah, probably not going to get much sympathy from anybody on that one.

But Cardi did propose one way for Trump to win back her affection, which I’m sure is exactly what Trump is looking for.

The rapper says that her uncle was deported, and tells the president to bring him back:

“Now he’s gonna have to…bring my uncle, grandma uncle to come back, because my uncle got deported.”

I’m sure he’ll get right on that.

Of course Trump probably isn’t expecting Cardi B’s support any time soon, so I have a feeling he’s not going to be sending a plane to rescue her uncle any time soon. And he’s definitely not going to be cutting a check for those $3,000 shoes. Last year, the rapper bragged that her net worth had surpassed $80 million, so I think she’ll be able to afford a new pair of shoes anyway.
