Kylie Kelce recently appeared on Call Her Daddy and opened up about her life, including her marriage to Jason, her fourth baby girl, and more.
The wife of the retired Philadelphia Eagles center is one of the most beloved wives in the NFL. Kylie’s “I don’t give a f*ck” personality breaks the mold of what WAGs are, as she is building her own brand, raising a small army of daughters, all while all being the number one supporter of her husband.
While Kylie Kelce does not often like to be in the public eye, but given the NFL legend her husband is and the relationship her brother-in-law has found himself in, her life has gone from quiet and cozy to very public.
Kylie has always done things to the beat of her own drum. While she doesn’t love red carpets or fancy galas, she has started her own podcast, Not Gonna Lie, to share what it’s like raising three (almost four) kids, navigating the media and entertainment space, and much more.
“I’m just as shocked as all of you that I’m starting a podcast, but if everyone’s going to be talking about me and my family, you might as well hear it from me. On ‘Not Gonna Lie,’ you’re going to hear my brutally honest opinions on motherhood, the biggest stories in sports and entertainment, and social media trends. And I’m excited to be doing it with the help of some incredible guests that I have no business talking to.”
While promoting her podcast, it’s beneficial for her to appear on another podcast, like Alex Cooper’s empire Call Her Daddy. During the Super Bowl, the two got together. Unlike many other media outlets who bombarded Travis any chance they got with Taylor Swift related questions, Kylie was hardly asked about their relationship.
Cooper did a fantastic job keeping her and Jason’s story at the center of her talking points.
However, that does not mean there was no talk of Taylor Swift.
Near the end of the interview, Cooper asked Kylie about her relationship with Travis, which led to her asking how she and Jason learned about his relationship with Taylor Swift. Kylie reveals that they knew before the relationship was hard launched, but they had not sat on the secret for long.
“We were not. I will say we knew before everyone else knew, but it was not like… no, it did not hit the group chat. Jason and I found together. But we knew before they hard launched with her going to the game.”
Cooper kept her questions about Swift very limited, but I loved her second question about Kylie’s relationship with her. She asked Kylie to share one piece of information she was surprised they bonded over.
Kylie’s answer is so wholesome, noting that they grew up going to the same shore points, which are the beaches that line the Jersey Shore.
“We grew up going to the same shore points. Her family was like Sea Isle and Stone Harbor, and those were like the exact areas that I grew up going to. Like I’ve gone to Sea Isle City my whole life.”
Given that Kylie noted she grew up with very humble family roots in Philly and the extravagant lifestyle Swift is known for today, she seemed shocked to learn they frequented the same beaches. Kylie shared that she and Jason have a house in the same beach town she grew up going to. While I am sure Swift has to visit more secure locations today due to her fame, it’s neat hearing that they bonded over core childhood memories made at the same beach.
Talk about not judging a book by its cover…
