It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Tom Brady is a pretty good brain to pick if you are an NFL hopeful.
Ol' "Touchdown Tom" has done pretty much everything you can as a professional football player. He's the winningest QB in the history of the sport, with 286 regular and postseason wins under his belt. Brady threw for just under 90,000 yards in his career (he could always come back again and get to that number) and tossed 649 touchdowns. Oh, and he won seven Super Bowls.
So yeah, it makes a lot of sense that an NFL rookie would be interested in hearing what Tom had to say about how he approached football. Many players that were recently drafted (Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, among others) were given the chance to hear from Brady during a recent get together organized by Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin.

That caption leads me to believe that Rubin dished out half a million dollars just to have Tom Brady and Jay-Z there at the breakfast event.
Everyone in attendance certainly got their money's worth, especially when Brady started sharing his words of wisdom. Tom reiterated a point he made rather recently about why some younger players nowadays aren't panning out, and it has to do with the "we over me" mentality:
"When you have 53 guys on the team, if you think it's about you, it ain't about you. It's about us.
And the biggest problem I see with a lot of the young players today, you guys are making it too much about 'I' and 'me' because of social media and branding and all that. It's fine... you're not gonna win. There's a difference between being a star and a champion."
Sage advice from a man who did a lot of winning in his career.
And if the NFL rookies were wondering how Tom had such a proficient record in the Super Bowl, that apparently had to do with how the longtime New England Patriot (and short time Tampa Bay Buccaneer) approached every day of his football playing days:
"Every day of practice is important. You know why? Because when I was on the Patriots and we had 20 years of winning, every day was a big day.
I treated a preseason game, I treated a regular season game like it was a Super Bowl. So when I got to the Super Bowl, it was just another day for me."

Hey, I'm no expert on football, but I'd probably listen to anything Tom Brady has to say about it.
I wonder if he even went as far to say, "No matter how well your career goes, never, under any circumstance, do a roast for Netflix."
If Tom was touching on everything else, I don't see why he wouldn't have included that as well...
