“But Does The Ice Cream Machine Work?”– Video Of McDonald’s Los Angeles Engulfed In Flames Goes Viral

Even when the world is falling apart, leave it to Twitter (or X) to find a way to make it comical. Los Angeles and the city's greater areas face extreme devastation as the wildfires spread. The Pacific Palisades fire has been named the most destructive fire in Los Angeles history as it's already ripped through over 17,000 acres and destroyed over 1,000 structures. While the Pacific Palisades fire is the largest, at least four other fires are running rapid, and 180,000 people have been evacuated from their homes, with at least five dead. This death number is sadly expected to rise due to the city's dry conditions and the Santa Ana winds, which bring gusts of up to 100 mph and spread the flames faster than firefighters can tackle them. It's a breeding ground for a fire to spread, and witnessing this disaster unfold is horrific. While many people post updates on the internet to notify citizens about what's happening in California, the videos shared also lead to many viral moments. From heartwarming moments like firefighters saving a family's keepsakes from their burning home to more comical moments like a woman doing "full glam" in her car as she evacuates the city, many moments have taken off on social media. The latest viral moment features a McDonald's in flames, with sparks flying off the building and the surrounding landscaping. Unlike Waffle House, McDonald's does not have a national scale to determine how severe weather storms are, and folks are leaning toward that and how this engulfed fast-food restaurant represents our nation. (Not to make it political, but think about the horrible events that have unfolded in the last few weeks. From that front, the USA has been pure chaos.)
