![Diddy Is Reportedly Throwing Tantrums In Jail Because UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassin Luigi Mangione Is More Popular Among Their Fellow Inmates]()

Hard to make friends without those parties, eh?
Disgraced rapper and producer Diddy is currently locked up in the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York City, awaiting trial on federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for the purposes of prostitution.
It's a pretty far fall from grace for Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, who was once one of the most powerful people in the music industry. And no doubt it's a big change to his glamorous lifestyle, one that we got a look at in the indictment that revealed the rapper used to hold sex-fueled parties called "freak offs" with high-profile guest lists.
The parties apparently involved massive amounts of baby oil, after over 1,000 bottles were found in the rapper's houses when they were raided by the FBI, which has become the source of quite a few jokes since his arrest, including this weekend by Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser who jabbed the audience by commenting that the "after party's not going to be as good this year" with Diddy locked up.
But apparently Diddy isn't used to not being the center of attention, because according to a new report, the rapper is jealous of another high-profile inmate that's being held in the same jail.
Luigi Mangione was arrested last month in the shocking murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who was shot in the early morning hours of December 4, 2024 outside of a New York City hotel while he was in town for an investors' meeting.
Since his identification and arrest, Mangione has garnered a cult following online, being hailed as a "hero" by people who are angry at the healthcare system.
And apparently Magione's fellow inmates have taken a liking to the alleged assassin too.
According to the
Daily Mail, a source inside the jail revealed that Diddy isn't happy that Mangione is getting more attention than he is:
"Diddy has been throwing tantrums over the fact that Luigi is getting all of the attention in prison and is being revered as a hero after literally murdering someone on camera."
The source claims that Diddy believes that the hate he's getting from inside the jail is unfair because he's maintained his innocence, while Mangione is getting support from inmates who are themselves angry with the healthcare system both inside the jail and in general.
The two have reportedly not crossed paths in the jail, and are being held in separate areas, but they do have one connection: Mangione's lawyer, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, is married to Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo.
You'd think New York City would have more criminal defense attorneys...
Now, of course both Mangione and Diddy are presumed innocent at the moment, and both have pleaded not guilty to the crimes they've been accused of.
And who knows if the story about Diddy's jealousy is even true, but the reaction in general to the two crimes really goes to show you just how much healthcare companies are hated. Well, and how rightfully disgusted we as a society are by sex crimes.
