Firefighter Invents A Stainless Steel Koozie With A Hidden Stash Cup For Your Zyn: Meet “The Chewzie”

The Chewzie

If anybody's looking for a last minute Christmas present for me, look no further. Zyn has absolutely skyrocketed in popularity over the past couple years. The smokeless nicotine pouches are now a billion dollar a year product, and sales are expected to increase in 2024 by 50% over the previous year. And honestly, it's not hard to see why they're so popular. They're a safer alternative to tobacco, you can use them anywhere, and they're pretty cheap and easy to find - for the most part. I'll admit, I'm one of those guys who now makes sure that I have my Zyn with me when I leave my house. Pop a little upper deckie in while I'm throwing back a few beers at the bar...nothing better. But I'll also admit that it's a pain to try to keep up with my Zyn tin. I can't tell you how many times I've lost the can, only to find it weeks later rolling around in my car or thrown in with all the stuff sitting on my dresser or wherever it ended up after a night out. Luckily, there's a new product out there to help you keep up with your Zyn - or your chew, or whatever tin you carry around with you in your pocket. Meet the Chewzie. The Chewzie is a stainless steel koozie with a hidden, screw-off compartment in the bottom that's just the right size for those cans of Zyn, tobacco, or even...well, something you may have picked up from the dispensary, if that's your thing. Of course, if you don't have any of those you can also use the storage for any small items you have with you...your keys, jewelry, medication (perfect for a couple Nexium if you're old like me and can't drink without getting heartburn these days), or just to hold your cash. Imagine having this thing at the beach and being able to keep your stuff dry and out of the sand while you're drinking? It's perfect. The Chewzie can fit not only your standard cans, but also slim cans (like your hard seltzers) or even a 12-oz bottle - and it even comes complete with a lid and reusable straw. The ingenious product was invented by Sully, a firefighter and amateur stand-up comedian who saw all the rings on jean pockets and knew there had to be a better solution: "Growing up in Ohio, and working in the fire department, I knew tons of people with a ring on their jeans. I always thought there should be a better place to store it, it just took me a while to realize I was the only guy in the world with enough balls to create it." Pretty brilliant, honestly. The koozie with a built in stash container has gone insanely viral on social media, thanks to Instagram videos that have racked up millions of views over the past year - like his drink recipes such as the "Swedish Car Bomb" which features (you guessed it) a Zyn in the bottom of the glass, or his hilarious video where Sully hits the streets dressed as Buddy the Elf in search of Zyn. https://www.instagram.com/p/C943deXR47t/ Genius marketing. And it makes sense, with Chewzie calling itself the world's only "entertainment drinkware" company: "I love drinking, sports, music, and making people laugh. Our goal is to create at least one piece of content every day to make you chuckle. You don't have to buy our drinkware, but you should follow along and laugh for free." Sounds perfect to me, honestly. The Chewzie is now available on Amazon, or straight from their website here. Or if you just want to check out their hilarious videos, you can follow them on Instagram or TikTok at @thechewzie. Oh, and look at this sick "Patriot Edition" they created: https://www.tiktok.com/@thechewzie/video/7427084694639906079 I'm telling you, this thing is the perfect Christmas gift for somebody who never leaves home without their Zyn/chewing tobacco/tin of whatever they carry in their back pocket. To just be able to pop the bottom off and throw in a lipper while you're drinking? Doesn't get any better than that. And maybe next year we'll even be able to use it for a cold Busch Light Apple... https://www.instagram.com/p/DBbVHM3RNLc/ If you want to see more of the Chewzie, Sully will be featured on Season 15 of The Blox, an entrepreneurial start up show in early 2025 - and if it's like the rest of his content, you're not going to want to miss it.
