Mark Cuban Mocked For Appearing On ‘Talk Tuah’ Podcast After Campaigning For Kamala Harris

Mark Cuban Hawk Tuah

Oh how the mighty have fallen... Mark Cuban, the former owner of the Dallas Mavericks and investor on ABC's Shark Tank, was a frequent surrogate for the Kamala Harris campaign during the 2024 presidential election. Cuban was a regular guest on cable news shows, where he often criticized former President Donald Trump for his economic policies and said the Republican nominee had "fascist tendencies." And he regularly sparred with fellow billionaire Elon Musk, who was a close advisor and supporter of Trump. But Cuban disappeared during the last week or so of the campaign, after he came under fire for comments he made on The View when he claimed that Trump doesn't associate with "strong, intelligent women." "Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Ever. It’s just that simple. They're intimidating to him." The comments immediately drew backlash from the Trump campaign (which was led by campaign manager Susie Wiles), and female Trump supporters criticized the billionaire for implying that any woman who supports the former president isn't a "strong, intelligent" woman. After the gaffe, Cuban was reportedly sidelined by the Harris campaign and asked not to make any further appearances on their behalf. And at the end of the day, any hopes Cuban had of getting an office in the White House or being part of the Harris administration were ultimately put to rest after her loss to Trump earlier this month. Tough scene. Cuban has laid low since Harris lost, though he did congratulate Donald Trump on his victory. But he also deleted his pro-Harris tweets and has generally stayed off social media other than retweets about his Cost Plus Drug company. But it seems that Cuban is ready to make his long-awaited return to the public discourse - on the Hawk Tuah girl's podcast. The Hawk Tuah girl is, of course, Haliey Welch, who went viral over the summer for a video where she gave advice on how to please a man in bed. Since then, she's turned her viral fame into a podcast called Talk Tuah that's, from what I've seen, watched more by people who are mocking it than people who actually care about what she has to say. Sounds like the perfect fit for Mark Cuban. https://twitter.com/talktuahpod/status/1861114013196702070 I guess he also likes to surround himself with strong, intelligent women. And the internet (well, at least the Trump supporters over on X) are getting a good laugh out of one of Kamala's top campaign surrogates showing up on the Talk Tuah podcast just weeks after her election loss. https://twitter.com/UnwokeismX/status/1861209692447420819 https://twitter.com/tacot1m/status/1861446809765188010 https://twitter.com/CultureWar2020/status/1861388961219760410 https://twitter.com/LangmanVince/status/1861371675930919091 https://twitter.com/OliLondonTV/status/1861380169975648756 https://twitter.com/leslie59904273/status/1861425941714497946 https://twitter.com/c567l45/status/1861394352058020191 https://twitter.com/JPMGGA/status/1861203202152018063 Gotta be rough on Cuban, knowing that his rival Elon Musk is hanging out with Trump and will serve a key role in the next presidential administration, while Mark is stuck going on the Talk Tuah podcast. And I'll admit, I haven't listened to any of the episode, so maybe it's a great, enlightening conversation. But man, if that's not a tough look for somebody who was clearly hoping for a job in the White House...
