“I Would Like Rachel Maddow’s Job” – Joe Rogan Trolls MSNBC After Elon Musk Floats The Idea Of Buying It

Joe Rogan Rachel Maddow

If Elon Musk wants something, he buys it. The 53-year-old businessman has a net worth of $314 billion. He's the CEO of Tesla Motors, and has also brought many other innovations like SpaceX and Starlink to the world. As of late, Musk has been seemingly inseparable from president elect Donald Trump. Oh, and he owns that thing called X (formerly Twitter) that you spend countless hours scrolling through. And it appears that he's aiming to expand his portfolio even more. Television network MSNBC isn't officially up for sale (yet). But after parent company Comcast announced a shake up that would see many NBCUniversal channels like USA, E!, Oxygen, the Golf Channel, and MSNBC spun off into their own entity (getting them off the Comcast balance sheet), its possible that some - if not all - of the networks could be up for sale. That's where Elon Musk comes in. If the hyper left-leaning MSNBC network (that landed in hot water recently for its digusting Laken Riley headline) were to go up for sale, it appears that the right-leaning billionaire and close friend/associate of Donald Trump Elon Musk could scoop it up... much to the chagrin of those who align with MSNBC. An X account called "Wall Street Mav" inaccurately reported that Comcast had already put MSNBC up for sale back on November 12, and Donald Trump Jr. quote tweeted/reposted it earlier today shouting out his new family friend Elon Musk: "Hey Elon Musk. I have the funniest idea ever!" https://twitter.com/DonaldJTrumpJr/status/1859957346665103747 I'm sure you can gather what Don Jr's idea would be, right? Elon certainly understood what Donald Trump's son meant, and quickly fired back a response in the replies asking for the important details. Musk could very well be joking, but then again with his history of setting his eyes on something and then throwing money at it, this could actually be a legitimate inquiry: I'm not sure if social media could handle Elon Musk buying MSNBC, though I'd certainly be interested to see how that would work. You'd have to think that Musk would want to overhaul the network, considering he doesn't see eye to eye politically with MSNBC. Funny enough, he's already gotten an offer from a highly respected talking head that formerly wouldn't fit within MSNBC. However, this name below would certainly fit within a revamped, remodeled network under Elon Musk's ownership: "If you buy MSNBC I would like Rachael Maddow’s job. I will wear the same outfit and glasses, and I will tell the same lies." What an iconic response from Joe Rogan. Safe to say he isn't a fan... https://twitter.com/joerogan/status/1859978463748514056 Obviously, a lot of this stuff is still very speculative, hypothetical, and probably very unlikely - considering MSNBC isn't actually for sale just yet. But guess what? If it does go up for sale, Elon Musk has done something exactly like this before: Guess only time will tell how all of this shakes out...
