Jason Kelce is hitting the studio. The former Philadelphia Eagles center has stayed busy in retirement. During his time on the Eagles, Kelce and his teammates recorded two Christmas albums, A Philly Special Christmas Special and A Philly Special Christmas. For this year's record, which is allegedly his last, he's pulling out all of the stops. Kelce has already released one single from the upcoming album, A Philly Special Christmas Party, with the legend Stevie Nicks. Released on their 2018 self-titled record, "Astrovan" is one of Mt. Joy fans' favorite tunes. The song details some psychedelic visions the narrator is having and how these visions are putting life into perspective for him. The punchline of the ditty is that "Jesus drives an Astrovan." Naturally, to make this song a Christmas jingle, they changed the song's title to "Santa Drives An Astrovan." During some teaser clips of the lead singer of Mt. Joy, Matt Quinn, in the studio with Kelce, it seems they are having a holly jolly good time. Quinn hilariously jokes that he hopes he does not revert to the song's original lyrics when recording this holiday rendition. "I'm 80% sure I remember all the words I changed." When the two lay down the lyrics, producers and sound engineers have massive grins on their faces, thoroughly enjoying the changes made to the original track.
