Jason Kelce is hitting the studio.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center has stayed busy in retirement. He is not only commentating on Monday Night Football and falling asleep at Taylor Swift concerts, but he has also been busy creating his forthcoming Christmas record. During his time on the Eagles, Kelce and his teammates recorded two Christmas albums, A Philly Special Christmas Special and A Philly Special Christmas. For this year's record, which is allegedly his last, he's pulling out all of the stops.
Kelce has already released one single from the upcoming album, A Philly Special Christmas Party, with the legend Stevie Nicks. Kelce noted how special it was to work with the famed vocalist from Fleetwood Mac, saying it was a dream come true.
“This is my dream come true. I am glad we’re turning this into a full-on recording session. I never thought I’d ever in a million years be on a song with Stevie Nicks, so this is incredible.”

Their duet "Maybe This Christmas" is beautiful, and if you haven't heard it, we will insert it at the bottom of this article for you to check out. But buckle up because Kelce is teasing his next collaboration for the record, and it's a good one.
Jason Kelce is teaming up with Mt. Joy for a Christmas rendition of their song "Astrovan."
Released on their 2018 self-titled record, "Astrovan" is one of Mt. Joy fans' favorite tunes. The song details some psychedelic visions the narrator is having and how these visions are putting life into perspective for him. The punchline of the ditty is that "Jesus drives an Astrovan." Naturally, to make this song a Christmas jingle, they changed the song's title to "Santa Drives An Astrovan." During some teaser clips of the lead singer of Mt. Joy, Matt Quinn, in the studio with Kelce, it seems they are having a holly jolly good time.
Quinn hilariously jokes that he hopes he does not revert to the song's original lyrics when recording this holiday rendition.
"I'm 80% sure I remember all the words I changed."
When the two lay down the lyrics, producers and sound engineers have massive grins on their faces, thoroughly enjoying the changes made to the original track. While this teaser snippet shows a lot of Quinn laying down his vocals, there is a snippet of Kelce singing. Man, does he have a set of pipes on him?

"Astrovan" is a soft song, and the vocal delivery grows stronger as the song continues. It appears they keep that same composition as Kelce belts out the line, "And you know Santa drives an Astrovan." To say he crushed it is an understatement.
This is the holiday gift we never knew we needed. Turn it up!
