Didn't really think that one through, eh?
The responses from liberals to Donald Trump's landslide victory in the 2024 presidential election haven't exactly been what I would call "rational." From Jimmy Kimmel crying during his monologue the night after the election to the hosts of
The View encouraging their audience to skip Thanksgiving if their family members voted for Trump, there have been a lot of people who are having a rough time with the former president returning to the White House.
Immediately after the election, many women even began claiming that they would be participating in the "4B movement" and withholding sex from men for the next 4 years.
Now, if you're not familiar with the 4B movement, it apparently started in South Korea as a protest for women's rights, and now women in America are turning to the four pillars of the movement in response to what they perceive as a threat to women from Trump.
The 4B movement includes no sex with men, no dating men, no giving birth (which should be easy if you're not having sex) and no marriage with men for the next four years. But it seems that some women are taking it a step further and...shaving their heads.

Apparently shaving their heads is their way of "sticking it to the patriarchy" by showing that they're not going to conform to society's standards of "beauty." Make themselves less desirable to men by shaving their heads I guess? Who knows, seems more like a mental breakdown but I'm no psychiatrist.
But anyway, as these videos have gone viral of women shaving their heads, they've caught the eye of a group other than men: Cancer patients.
Naturally these women with cancer or alopecia or any other medical issue that caused them to lose their hair are now seeing women shaving their head and claiming it makes them less attractive to men - and they're not happy about.
Many of these women have taken to TikTok to call out those who are shaving their head to make a political statement:
Of course these people who are having meltdowns over Trump's election aren't exactly thinking rationally. I mean, the man was already president for four years, do you think it's really going to be that different this time around?
And I get it, politics are naturally a pretty divisive subject, especially for the women who were hoping to have the first female president with Kamala Harris.
But maybe take a deep breath and step away from social media and the news for a minute?
