A little help can go a long way.
You can always trust our servicemen and servicewomen to set a good example for the youth. It's always a good time to shine a light on those who serve our country, especially with Veteran's Day coming up next week. This random act of kindness that's going viral online is definitely worth your time.
A TikToker by the name Dani Lane decided to document a moment that she shared with her husband recently. Mr. Lane is serving in the United States Air Force, and when he returned home from his duties, he noticed that there was a neighborhood baked goods stand that a kid had set up in his front yard.
As Dani described it in her TikTok, her husband insisted that they go get some cash to support the kid's small business. And as you'll see in the video below, the support made an immediate impact on the young man running the table:
"My husband came home from work and said, 'I need to go get cash. There's a kid with a table selling cookies and I remember when I was his age, nobody stopped. I'm gonna go give him $20.'"

That's the definition of heartwarming right there.
As the story has blown up, we've found out more about "Jaztine's Banging Baked Goods." Dani has told her followers on TikTok that the stand sells cookies and cupcakes, and that it's actually ran by Jaztin and her younger brother Camden - who was seen in the viral video.
Jaztin is also serving in the military, and she's stationed out of state. She uses the baked good sales to help support herself and her brother, as the house that Camden was set up in front of is actually his grandmother's house (she takes care of them). So Mr. Lane didn't know it, but his $20 was going to help a fellow service member.
And guess what? The original creator of the TikTok posted a link to her personal Venmo account to collect money to gift Camden and Jaztin. In only a couple of days, kind people all across the world donated $7,947 to help support Jaztine's Banging Baked Goods. Dani Lane is now working to get all of that money to the family, and she's also helping them create a logo for their baked goods business. And there's still more money rolling in.
It's these type of stories that can often offer up a great pick me up, and social media has been touched by the generosity that sparked such a feel-good story that continues to become more and mores inspiring:
"I’m not crying, you’re crying! This was so genuine! The emotions in his body language and on his face said it all! Grateful for this positivity."
"And he couldn’t wait to go into the house and share the good news! Love this so much."
"The neighborhood lemonade stand is perhaps the most important business in America. It demonstrates a child’s willingness to work and their entrepreneurial spirit, but it also allows us to see communities support each other."
"There are still plenty of good people in this world."
"Every time you see one of these, I implore you to stop and visit. Even if you don’t care for what they’re selling, the impact your few dollars will have on their future is worth hundreds of times what you could ever take out of your wallet."
@daninlane thankyou guys so much for making this possible!!!! God is so good!!!🥹😭❤️🍪 #cookieboy #fyp #actsofkindness ♬ original sound - Dani Lane
