Social media has been ablaze lately with Brianna Chickenfry -
Zach Bryan drama.
The split between the Barstool Sports personality and the country music singer has already come with plenty of fireworks, but things really got real when Brianna Chickenfry (whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia) decided to share all on the most recent episode of the
BFFs Podcast.
After taking a break from it all and recovering from the breakup, Bri hasn’t shied away from letting all of her fans and followers all of the ins and outs of her relationship with the “Something in the Orange” singer. And the situation only escalated when Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and
BFFs cohost Josh Richards dropped a Zach Bryan diss track called
“Smallest Man.”
What all did Brianna allege during the bombshell podcast? It was a long list of emotionally packed accusations, saying that she was
offered $12 million to sign an NDA after the breakup, alleging that
Bryan offered her double the salary she was making at Barstool to quit, and also
claiming that she was emotionally abused in various ways throughout their relationship that ended abruptly.
One could easily argue that most of the support in the high-profile break up has backed up Brianna. However, to play devil's advocate here a bit, there have been some Zach Bryan fans that have continued to show support for him - and even throw some shade back towards Brianna Chickenfry. Of all the arguments Zach Bryan fans have made, they've utilized a clip from an interview Chickenfry did with Theo Von the most.
In that interview, which aired in May of 2023 (two months before Bri confirmed that her and Bryan were a couple), Brianna talked about her past relationships with the comedian. The
Plan Bri podcast host brought up on specific example where she followed a guy to Ohio to continue to be with him - and ultimately regretted it:
"I was dating him for two years and I realized (that) I don't know why I went to school for this man. I don't know why I went to Ohio out of everywhere, so I broke up with him, but I stayed in Ohio. Then I got another boyfriend in Ohio."
Von then asked her if she was the type of person to go from boyfriend to boyfriend, and the Barstool Sports personality confirmed that assumption wholeheartedly - and even added in some extra details:
"I'm a relationship girl. There's an overlap usually. Always an overlap. Every time."
Theo Von cracked up at the revelation, saying that he's not sure that's called an "overlap" as much as its called "cheating." It made for a rather funny interaction between the comedian and Chickenfry:
Obviously that's not a great look for Chickenfry. But always remember that people can change, so maybe Brianna's attitude towards relationships had shifted after getting together with Zach Bryan.
