Talk about a dream home. The wonders of TikTok have brought to the masses a virtual tour of a sprawling estate that Christina Ludeau Smith has affectionately dubbed "Hillbilly Mansion."
Smith, her husband, and their four boys and two daughters occupy this awe-inspiring residence that serves as a masterclass in home extensions. What began as a mere trailer eventually transformed into a seven-bedroom, four-bathroom marvel of modern architecture.
The tour begins with a quick look at the family's kitchen and dining room. We then pan over to the cozy living room. With an interior design that leans in and embraces on pristine woodwork paired with general laid-back vibes, I was struck by how warm and "homey" the place felt right out of the gates. Seems like a good time to drop the video in so you can pick up on the action.
After a quick glimpse into the sizable walk-in pantry where the refrigerator also fits with ease, we go back through the living room and straight into the master bedroom. This thang is
huge. I say "thang" in subtle tribute to

Anyway, Smith opines that the super relaxing-looking recliner chair across from her big bed was the "best purchase ever." Nice to have a little decompressing station opposite the bed, no? You have to walk through the whole master bath to get to the roomy walk-in closet. Kind of an unconventional choice, but a bold one. I can dig it.
Next phase: A long, wood-floor corridor that functions as a high-key flex for economy of square footage. We've got two of the boys' bedrooms, one of the girl's bedrooms, a laundry room, and a couple smaller bathrooms. The bedrooms are plenty big enough, too. Pulling all
that off in that particular section is quite the achievement in and of itself.
Then, Christina comes from the top rope with the "new addition" that apparently everyone's awaited with bated breath. It lives up to the hype. What was once just another closet turned into a whole other full-blown house of its own.
We make our way down another lengthy, narrow hallway to discover another son's room, featuring some LSU merch and quite the staggering hat collection. Then we see the eldest 16-year-old son's bedroom, and the eldest daughter's room, highlighted by a bay window straight in from the doorway. Inside there is the bathroom for the two daughters, decked out with granite countertops, a vanity sink, and a splendid-looking window to look out of from the tub.
Oh yeah,
plus a hidden washer and dryer to make the girls' laundry a breeze. It's an improbable "Jill and Jill" if you will bathroom that connects the two daughters' bedrooms. I'm so lost in this wondrous labyrinth by this point that I can't make sense of how they pulled that off. Major props there.
Christina caps it all off by stating that their trailer went from 2,800 sq ft to 3,800, and tells viewers to let her know if they want to see the outside. I suppose they did, because she eventually obliged.

Although we didn't get a fully zoomed-out view of the home due to Christina understandably wanting to protect her family's privacy, we get a better idea of how all the extensions and add-ons were executed. Pretty mind-blowing stuff. Now that's how you maximize your property!
