MSNBC Quickly Cuts Away After Zooming In On A Woman Pulling Down Her Shirt To Breastfeed During Kamala Harris’ Concession Speech

Hey, kid's gotta eat somewhere. The dust is finally settling on the 2024 election, after former President Donald Trump completed his political comeback to defeat Vice President Kamala Harris and become the 47th President of the United States. It was predicted to be an extremely close election, with all eyes on the swing states of Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Nevada. The pre-election polls showed the race well within the margin of error. And with such a close race, many believed that it would take days to get the votes counted and declare a winner. But obviously that's not what happened. Trump ended up defeating Harris in all seven battleground states, and even narrowed his margins from the 2020 election against Joe Biden in solidly blue states like Virginia, New Jersey, New York and California. The race was called for Trump by early Wednesday morning, which was obviously a situation that the Harris camp wasn't prepared for. Reports were that she didn't have a concession speech prepared for Tuesday night, clearly expecting either a win or for the vote to take much longer to be counted. Early on as the votes were counted, there were signs that things weren't going well for the Democrat nominee. And while her campaign was obviously holding out hope that she would be able to pull off a victory in enough of the swing states to win the presidency, it became clear early in the evening that if she won, it wouldn't be until later in the week. The Harris campaign held their election night party on the campus of her alma mater, Howard University in Washington, DC. But once it became clear that she wouldn't be declared the winner on election night, Harris sent her campaign manager Cedric Richmond out to tell the crowd to go home, and that she wouldn't be speaking until Wednesday afternoon. Well in the meantime, Trump was declared the winner of the election, so that speech ended up being her concession speech in which Harris promised a "peaceful transition of power" to the next administration.
