“Stop Being Offended” – Bill Belichick’s Ex Linda Holliday Tells The Internet To Lighten Up After She Dons “Kill Bill” Halloween Costume

Bill Belichick Linda Holliday

The somewhat common phrase "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" comes to mind here. Before we dive in here to examine how Bill Belichick's ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday, is rocking a Kill Bill costume that pays homage to Uma Thurman's lead character, The Bride, I can't help but mention this. When you Google the aforementioned "no fury" phrase, the Shakespeare-based origins pop up as the first result, right alongside a play of that exact title written by Tyler Perry. We went from "Bill" Shakespeare to Tyler Perry to Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill in a matter of milliseconds. My head is spinning at the implications. Alright back to the actual story. Anyone who can rock The Bride's yellow jumpsuit is a winner in my book. Kill Bill is a fantastic pair of movies that Tarantino actually sees more as one long epic. In fact, just about any Tarantino-related costume is a win, because he's one of the greatest filmmakers of all-time. https://twitter.com/DraftKings/status/1851681103255605469 Shout out DraftKings for linking to Mike Golic Jr's quote that characterized Holliday's holiday getup as "subtle as a sledgehammer." It would appear that Holliday received some negative feedback from others as well, or at least folks told her she went a tad too far getting into the Halloween spirit. That has to explain why she posted this to her Instagram: https://twitter.com/SteveDelSports/status/1851662961133126076 Hard to believe anyone out there would take Holliday's costume as anything more than a humorous jab at Belichick. Isn't the point of Halloween to get weird and do something you wouldn't otherwise do, for the specific reason that you're donning a disguise? It's not like she actually wants to kill Bill. Now look, are there any hard feelings over their breakup, and the fact that Bill is getting pretty serious with his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson? It's possible, but look, Holliday was out with her lady friends having a little Halloween fun. What's the harm in taking a funny, figurative shot at Belichick? Former Patriots players always talk about how they're surprised at Belichick's sense of humor behind closed doors. I think he'd get a kick out of Holliday's costume more than anything else. So no, I don't believe Linda Holliday is a scorned woman who is out for vengeance against Bill to the point where she'd legit "unalive" him as the kids say on TikTok these days. My best guess is that the thematic element of revenge in the Kill Bill movies is Holliday's rebuttal to her breakup with Belichick. Not that she's going to go homicidal on him, but rather, she's making a point that she's "still got it" and having a killer time. Couldn't resist the pun! Breakups can feel apocalyptic, and I'd imagine once they split last year from a relationship that began in 2007, it must've turned Holliday's world upside down. She used to be the friggin' president of Belichick's foundation. Sounds messy and complicated to break things off that late in the game of life. Anyway, all things considered with Belichick making the public rounds with is much-younger new girlfriend, I think Holliday has handled things quite well.
