Keith Urban’s 16-Year-Old Daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban, Ruthlessly Slammed For Being A “Nepo Baby” After Runway Debut

Sunday Rose

The internet is a ruthless place... Earlier this month, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman's daughter, Rose Kidman-Urban, made her runway debut during Paris Fashion Week. The 16-year-old walked in Miu Miu show showcasing their Spring 2025 collection. "Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban is officially a fashion it-girl. Today, the 16-year-old daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban made her runway debut at the spring 2025 Miu Miu show." The aspiring model chatted with Vogue Magazine before making her runway debut, telling the publication that this was a dream come true. "I've been wanting to do this for so long, so when the offer came through, it was really exciting. And now the day's finally here." In a short interview, she said she was stressed leading up to the show, but everyone on the Miu Miu runway team has been lovely, making it a fantastic first runway experience. Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were over the moon, beaming as proud parents watching their daughter during this significant moment. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAlpYmpJJnH/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D While Sunday Rose and her parents thought the debut was fantastic, the internet's harsh critics had opposing opinions. Sunday Rose is a stunning young woman and while some of the comments focused on her looks, the bulk of the criticism was about her lack of experience, and how nepotism is the only reason she was invited to make her runway debut at such a prestigious event. Critics said her walk needed a lot of work to keep up with the seasoned veterans who were also featured during the show. Another aspect of criticism that she is receiving is that with this industry being so cutthroat, she's bypassing all the hard work and sh*tty jobs other models have had to do because her parents automatically give her a leg up in the industry. Here's a look at some of the disgusting comments to a 16 year old girl: "She’s a model? Hahahaha." "To the real models who work so hard to get these coveted jobs…I see you. Sunday Rose may be a sweet kid, but this should never have happened." "Literal was so bad I wanted to cry." "Do the producers of these shows provide any kind of walking coaching for models? I know most of them don't need it." "This couldn't highlight nepotism any harder." "Why are all celeb kids models regardless of what they look like." "OOf, she is giving nothing." "What is that tragic walk?" "So young and so vain, vacuous, entitled, and completely unaware of her own privilege already. Sigh." "Oh gawd, get a job... how the hell can she be a model." "How the F is she a model?" "Omg her walk. That's so sh*tty to real models who have to struggle hard. I don't know if they have those anymore. Trust fund babies are taking over the world." "If her mom wasn’t Nicole, there’s no way she would be walking the runway. Sorry, kid." "Let’s hear it for the NEPOTISM, BABY." "WOW. You are a nepo baby. Before I realized you were, I thought, how did this non-model-looking person get to be in this position?" On the other hand, there are other commenters disgusted with the fact they are so hard on a 16-year-old. "What’s wrong with you negative nellies! The girl is excited, obviously talented, and into fashion! Be happy for a kid living her dream." "This is a 16-year-old CHILD being BASHED in the comments. People should be ashamed. What if this was your daughter, sister, niece, neighbor, or friend?" "For those with negative comments, can you please STOP? Be better and filter it. Show some decency. It’s just another form of bullying. No need to tear a 16 year old down." I mean.... can we cut the girl a break? It's her modeling debut, and she's only 16 years old. Give her some time. Who knows, she might be the next Kendall Jenner. Do the children of famous people get more opportunities? Yeah, they do. Do the children of rich people get more opportunities? Yeah, they do. Do the children of people in certain industries get more opportunities in that industry? Yeah... but... that's life and life isn't fair. There's basically two things you can do... complain about it, OR... instead of complaining about it, and slamming a child... maybe work harder so someday you can deliver that same opportunity to your children or your grandchildren? And what's even more laughable... 99% of these commenters will never touch a runway, or aren't even in the industry, but have the time to tear apart a 16 year old kid because mom and dad are famous? Man, people suck...
