Reach for the stars, kid.
A Texas Longhorns fan
found himself being turned into a viral meme after the camera caught him - and his immaculate head of hair - looking sad as he watched the Georgia Bulldogs knock off the then-#1 ranked Longhorns.
Many online compared him to Conway Twitty:

And of course the internet had plenty of other jokes too:

Well as it turns out, the fan found out that he was going viral as soon as the game ended - and apparently all of his group chats were blowing up.
And we all know what happens with viral stars. You gotta take advantage of your 15 minutes of fame. Start a podcast, get an endorsement deal, pitch your story to whoever will listen. Get that money.
Well the
Daily Mail caught up with the Longhorns fan to talk to him about his viral experience, and he revealed what he's hoping to get out of his online fame - and as it turns out, he wants to team up with the star behind another viral meme.
The fan, whose name is Grant Walther, said that his friends began telling him that he was a meme as soon as the game ended:
"Literally as soon as the game ends, I turn around to my friends and they're all on their phones just in shock. And I'm like, 'What's up?'
And they're like, 'You're a meme.'"
So what's his goal with his newfound fame? Well apparently ol' Grant wants to go straight to the top of our media these days: He wants to appear on the
Talk Tuah podcast.
"If I can get onto the Talk Tuah podcast, I think that would be a life goal I could check off my bucket list."
Might as well dream big buddy.
Of course the
Talk Tuah podcast is the latest venture from the "Hawk Tuah" girl, Haliey Welch, who was herself a viral meme over the summer. So maybe she can help guide Walther through his moment too.
But to his credit, that's not all he's thought about doing: He also wants to team up with one of the most famous Texas fans for a good cause.
"I know Matthew McConaughey was cutting players' hair. Maybe he can cut mine on the field and raise some money for cancer awareness. My grandmother just recently got diagnosed with breast cancer and then beat it. This is the perfect platform for me to advocate for the things I care most about."
The 20-year old is originally from Los Angeles - and as many people joked about online, he actually does want to be a lawyer.
@dailymail Speaking exclusively with Daily Mail, Grant Walther, the college football fan who went viral for his unique appearance, revealed he wants to collaborate with Matthew McConaughey. Walther hopes he can use his viral fame for a good cause, and suggested McCounaughey cut his hair on the field for cancer awareness. He also expressed interest in being featured on the Talk Tuah podcast. #viral #football #meme #matthewmcconaughey ♬ original sound - Daily Mail
